Hi neighbors! I’m on the lookout for a battery-powered ride-on car (Jeep, convertible, truck, etc.) for my 2- and 4-year-old grandsons to drive when they visit. Bench seat would be best.
I know the thrill doesn’t last long, so I’d love to adopt one that’s sitting in someone’s garage rather than buy new. Just needs to run and hold a charge.

I need two strong men, hopefully with an appliance strap to carry a washer and dryer (individually) a few yards to my laundry room. No stairs. The machines are in the garage next to my laundry room, but the door needed to be widened to get them in there. It is planned to have the door widened on Monday Afternoon 10/27. Late afternoon or early evening on that day would work well for moving them in. $50 offered per person for a few minutes of work. Thank you. I am in Manzanita (Classic St Cottages). We are helping a refugee family from Afghanistan. The dad was a translator for the US Army. The mom was a tailor. She wants to start a home sewing business to help support their family of five.

Heart of Cartm was able to locate a serger for her. Other sewing supplies that would help would be: fabric, notions, sewing table, mat and cutter, pins and needles.

Donations can be brought to the Heart of Cartm Store.
