Clearly seeing and allowing the pain
in ourselves…we develop the capacity to feel and realize what is needed…
As we celebrate this one precious life…Together.
Questions welcome.
The fall class starts Tuesday, October 4th at 1 PM PT via Zoom for nine weeks. All classes are recorded if you can’t catch it LIVE. During class, I teach and answer questions. There is an online curriculum component that requires an additional hour of weekly exercises.
We cover processes, people and perspective all related to money including how to talk with partners, parents and children about money. With new awareness, clarity and vision, you’ll identify your financial goals and create your unique Financial Freedom & Relief Plan to attain them. Most importantly, we uncover and rewrite your money story. You become the heroine.
You’ll benefit from more love, less worry when you have a plan you will follow because you believe in your ability to manage money.
The Mindful Money Method is unique because it is a holistic approach to the math, mindset and soul of money designed specifically for women. I lean into my yoga teaching practice to make it calm and effective. I am often told, ‘No one ever taught me about money or explained it so simply.’
Artist and summer student, Teresa told me, ‘You’re the first money person that hasn’t shamed me. I am feeling more confident in my understanding and abilities’
As a certified Financial Life Coach, I teach this process to women all over the world. It’s proven and receives rave five-star, life-changing reviews. The 9-week LIVE class & online curriculum is $457. I’d love to share it with more local women so I am offering a locals 25% discount. Use coupon code: TILLAMOOK.
Register at www.MindfulMoneyMethod.com.
All proceeds from the LIVE course are donated to woman’s organizations for college scholarships.

This is a non-partisan Listening Session for citizens of the Rockaway Beach area, hosted by Charles McNeilly, mayoral candidate, and Cindy Kay Gregory, City Council candidate. The purpose is to share your feelings, concerns, and possible solutions for some of the issues we face as a community. We invite you to be heard.
Admission is $25; tickets can be purchased at the theatre box office (503-436-1242) or online at coastertheatre.com.
West Coaster Julie Adams meets native New Englander Michael Costello in this synergistic guitar and vocal duo. Based in Oregon, they perform and record together regularly, bringing a unique blend of visceral song writing and soulful performing.
Meeting at a Lucinda Williams concert in Boston, Massachusetts was an interesting start to this musical couple’s journey. Combining Costello’s love of roots music along with Adams’ strong draw to driving rhythms, this pair creates a unique sound that comes alive during their fast attack studio sessions and live performances.
At this time, everyone must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to enter the theatre on performance day. Face masks are optional but encouraged when attending a show at the Coaster Theatre. The theatre recommends visiting coastertheatre.com or contacting the box office closer to the performance for any possible changes to the theatre’s COVID policy.
Upcoming shows and events at the theatre:
Gramercy Ghost, Sept. 30 – Oct. 29
Scrooge: The Musical, Nov. 18 – Dec. 18

Don’t miss our last outdoor show of the year!
All proceeds go to support this fabulous artist.
Astoria native, Heather Christie was born singing to a family of musicians on the Oregon Coast. As a baby she attended her dad’s rock shows under her mother’s poncho. Early on she picked up her mother’s 1942 Martin Guitar and began writing her own music.
Playing in bluegrass jams, country and gospel sing alongs, musical tributes, competitions, and radio theater… A Lilith Fair Finalist, Heather has performed nationwide, from solo artist, to full band, to the award winning FROGTOWN musical stage show, honoring the muse wherever she goes.
“Heather has developed her own brand of Lyrical Soul and it’s traveling down the road in a Folkwagon bus” ~Hipfish Arts & Culture
This is a private outdoor concert with only 20 tickets available. 100% of proceeds go directly to the artist.
Please bring a lawn chair to sit on.

A time to pause with a nice cup of chai and reflect on what’s unfolded over the past 9 months of 2022. Take your time. It’s been a lot!
When I was a kid my mom brought me into to see an expensive allergy doctor because I was constantly having ear aches and runny noses.
I remember the doctor putting on a cartoon to distract me while he pulled out what seemed like endless trays of allergy test needles.
As soon as I saw the needles I started to bawl. I must have been about 5 years old and it’s a memory that seared into my little brain.
After that awful jabby appointment, the doctor came back with the grand diagnosis of “She’s allergic to the changing of the seasons”.
My mom was so angry about that- and I was too! I mean poking me with a hundred needles just to tell me I’m allergic to weather?
I’ve been thinking about this lately because as an adult I realize I actually am extra sensitive to the turning of the seasons- we all are.
It’s something that ancient healing traditions around the world paid close attention to before there were artificial lights and cell phones to distract us from what nature is doing.
As we hustle along in this culture of information overwhelm, it’s easy to forget that the Fall Equinox stands like a big yellow road sign on the calendar reading “Slow Down”.
I happen to be really bad at slowing down- and if you are too, I hope this list of 8 ancient wellness practices for fall will help you take care of yourself as the season shifts.
When nature undergoes a rapid and massive shift in energy (fall and spring) we humans we most definitely are affected.
The good news is that part of staying healthy and grounded in the fall includes lots of lovely sleep and deliciousness- including pumpkin, spice and chai. (look for that back on our fall menu next week!)
To read all about how not to be allergic to fall this year
grab a cup of tea and click the link below to read.
Have a wonderful Fall Equinox!
We will have our pumpkin chai at the farmers market tomorrow!

To benefit St Aloysius School for Girls in Uganda and Haiti Women’s Project.
Good treasures for a great cause!!

This project encourages volunteers and the public to make and share observations on rocky shores, sandy beaches, dunes, and near-shore estuaries all along the Oregon coast while learning how to use iNaturalist. This event was inspired by Snapshot Cal Coast, where for two weeks every year starting in June, the California Academy of Sciences mobilizes and organizes partners along the California coast to make and share observations of as many species as possible to build an annual snapshot of biodiversity along the California coast.
Create a free iNaturalist account and find our project, “CoastWatch Fall Challenge 2022” (www.inaturalist.org/projects/coastwatch-fall-challenge-2022). When the challenge begins, go to the coast, take pictures of all the species you observe, and use iNaturalist’s image recognition software to help you identify them. iNaturalist is available as a free app and accessible through any web browser.
Two participants will earn a Pacific 2023 Northwest Tidelog—prizes will go to whoever submits the most observations and the individual who observes the highest number of species throughout the challenge.
For more information about the event or CoastWatch, contact Jesse Jones, CoastWatch Volunteer Coordinator, at (503) 989-7244, jesse@oregonshores.org.

Heather Christie has been a friend of mine for years.
I’ve always loved her voice and her songs. They are full of emotion and a wild hopefulness that love will conquer all.
If you haven’t heard her live you are in for a real treat.
We only sell 20 tickets to these intimate outdoor shows and they are always magical.
100% of proceeds go to the artist. It’s our way of supporting live music after the pandemic made it so hard for artists to perform.
This time the show is starting it early so you can enjoy the fall sunshine and drive home before it gets dark.
Our tea room will be open before the show and during intermission pouring complimentary blends!
