AGNES OF GOD

CRIMES OF THE HEART:
Opens March 1st
The scene is Hazlehurst, Mississippi, where the three Magrath sisters have gathered to await news of the family patriarch, their grandfather, who is living out his last hours in the local hospital.
Lenny, the oldest sister, is unmarried at thirty and facing diminishing marital prospects; Meg, the middle sister, who quickly outgrew Hazlehurst, is back after a failed singing career on the West Coast; while Babe, the youngest, is out on bail after having shot her husband in the stomach.
Their troubles, grave and yet somehow hilarious, are highlighted by their priggish cousin, Chick, and by the awkward young lawyer who tries to keep Babe out of jail while helpless not to fall in love with her.
In the end, the play is the story of how its young characters escape the past to seize the future—but the telling is so true and touching and consistently hilarious that it will linger in the mind long after the curtain has descended.
THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG:
Opens May 31st
From Mischief, Broadway masters of comedy, comes the smash hit farce.
Welcome to the opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things quickly go from bad to utterly disastrous.
This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show—an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines).
Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!
Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award–winning comedy is a global phenomenon guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!
THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN:
Opens September 6th
Rachel Watson longs for a different life.
Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window daily, happy and in love, or so it appears.
When Rachel learns that the woman she’s been secretly watching has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and even a suspect in a thrilling mystery in which she will face bigger revelations than she could ever have anticipated.
IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO RADIO PLAY.
Opens December 6th
This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast.
With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life on one fateful Christmas Eve.
