American Leather Sleeper Couches. These Sleeper Couches are the best sleeper sofa in the country, no bars or springs!
Selling these because it’s time to upgrade with new couches for the hotel.

Globalist planners (banks/tech/war/health) worked for decades on a Democrat-led war with Russia via Ukraine, more war with Russia via Iran and Syria, engineering of SARS-CoV-2 and the lies and fear that led billions to shoot new mRNA-tech that they didn’t need.
Many, many of us knew the elites would use the Biden admin to start World War Three. The war planners wanted it with Hillary, she lost, and then they tried to start the wars with Trump, but he wouldn’t do it. That’s some strange logic.

There have been 15 (or is it 20?) years’ worth of investment in NCRD based partially on the presence of the renewable tax levy. And now out of frustration with the organization (I have my own list, for sure), some folks feel the most sensible thing to do is to put that progress at risk as a way to express their frustration? This seems like performing surgery with a mallet.

Protect our investment & vote to renew the levy.

Participants will be introduced to the art of basket making during this great workshop led by
Brian Krehbiel of the Confederated Tribes of the Grande Ronde.
Brian has 15+ years as a tribal educator. Although Brian is an enrolled member of Grand Ronde,
his tribal lineage descends from Nipissing band of Ojibway, Chinook, Luckiamute Kalapuya,
Umpqua, Iroquois, Shasta, Tillamook, Takilma, Mary’s River Kalapuya, German, Irish and
Spanish. Brian will give a short presentation on gathering native vegetation and materials,
processing, and basket making, along with how he learned to make baskets. After the introduction he will guide 15 people in making a small basket from start to finish using native
plants that he and others will provide.

Community, for those of you who use the NCRD, or don’t use the NCRD, the NCRD is a Treasure and has the potential to be a great experience for all. CONSIDER, you’ve only had those experiences because they are unrestrictedly AVAILABLE to YOU.
If you have mobility issues, if you’re in a wheelchair YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS to the Pickle ball courts or onto the stage in the PAT, THAT’s not the point.

THE POINT IS, the Board and Ed will NOT EVEN ASK FOR A COMMITTEE BE FORMED to look for options! This and comments from a board member ‘I have a disability, you don’t see me asking for special favors’ and another bm’s sickening smirk ‘do people in wheelchairs play pickle ball’ indicate discrimination, ignorance and a very nasty bias against the mobility challenged.

By VOTING NO, the Board and ED will see we AS COMMUNITY are NOT WILLING to perpetuate biases and discrimination with our tax dollars!

As a Community, do we not stand for Community over our individual interests?

The NCRD will continue, there is a LOT of slush in the budget. Let’s look at why employees, REGARDLESS of hours worked, ACCRUE PTO (personal time off)?

This is an update on Sheila’s post surgery Meal Train. Thank You North Coast Community for “being here”. For having my back in this vulnerable time. I am a little over one week out from major surgery and because of your kind hearts, generosity and darn great cooking skills, I am well fed and able to manage here at home.
I am thankful for my healing progress. Sure and steady. It is slower than I hoped it might be but much better than I feared it could be. Seeing how I do over the next few days, I might add a few more days of requesting help with meals. THANK YOU EVERYONE!! ❤ Sheila

Donations to Support Smiley Salmon Harvest

After two record-breaking years, 2022 didn’t disappoint with over 1,400 fish and a Grant’s Getaways feature story on KGW (see link below)! We provided over 6,000 cans of salmon to food banks and food programs throughout Tillamook County, and Neah-Kah-Nie High School students designed labels – the selected label for 2022 is featured above. Once again, it is time to harvest and can salmon for distribution, and the need is even greater as food insecurity continues to greatly impact our local communities. The Smiley Brothers & Sisters continue to organize volunteers to take the salmon bounty from the North Fork Nehalem Fish Hatchery for processing in Garibaldi. The harvest is alive and well with experienced leadership and volunteers to provide the North Tillamook County Food Bank, Tillamook Regional Food Bank and local senior meals programs this valuable, local nutritional support for North Coast families.
Our ODFW biologist has contacted us and predictions are for another LARGE run of coho salmon.

So, your donations are needed now more than ever.
Here’s a bit of the history: The Smiley Bros. began these coordinated partnerships in 2009 to harvest, process and distribute local Coho Salmon to the local food bank. This tremendous bounty of high quality Omega-3 proteins is needed by all but especially by our youth and aging populations. The success over the last 14 years is made possible with the support of Oregon Fish and Wildlife, the North County Food Bank, the Eugene Schmuck Foundation, and the Tillamook County Creamery Association has helped with significant donations as well as many more organizations and individuals.
To ensure your donations are tax-deductible, the Smiley Brothers Salmon Harvest is a program of Fulcrum Community Resources as the sponsoring 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. For more about Fulcrum Community Resources, go to www.fulcrumresources.org.

NCRD Pool Update The Pool will Open Monday October 30th

We are happy to announce that the Pool will open Monday morning at 6:00 am.

We will have Early Bird Lap Swim 6:00-8:00 am, Noon Lap Swim noon-1:00 pm and Evening Lap Swim 5:00-6:00 pm Monday Friday.

We will have AM Aqua-fit class at 8:00-8:45 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We will have Water-walking at 10:00-11:00 am and 11:00 am-noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, and 6:00-7:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

All the “Learn to Swim” classes will resume at their scheduled times.

Friday Night Family Swim will begin Friday November 17th , 6:00-7:30 pm.

The 9:00 am and 7:00 pm aquatic fitness classes will not resume until we are able to hire more lifeguards.

We are actively recruiting, and we are willing to train qualified candidates. We have a training planned for mid-November.

If you are a good swimmer, please consider getting trained as a Lifeguard. You will get the benefit of using the Pool along with your hourly wage if you will take on a couple of hours lifeguarding per week. You will be able to stay fit while serving the community. It’s a Win-Win for everyone!
