Anyone have an old laptop sitting around gathering dust? We’re seeking a laptop for a typing station for the kids at Fire Mountain School. It needs only to do word processing. If you have one to donate please contact firemountainschool@gmail.com.
Much gratitude,
Emily
Among our townsfolk, there are strong opinions on both sides of the issue. And, to my way of thinking, that’s part of the beauty of small-town life. We are conservative and liberal, young and old, rich and poor, working and retired, outspoken and introverted. And it is this diversity that weaves together to make Wheeler the place we choose to live. Yet, it has been my experience that this diversity is not fully represented among those attending our Council meetings.
I encourage our Citizens to attend the meeting to learn first hand—instead of through rumor and innuendo—how and why our City Council rules on this issue. And, let us all try to remember that reasonable, well-intentioned citizens can, and should, agree to disagree respectfully.

Scrap metal from Nextgo BBQ with some “stainless.” – Free. (I can’t remember the gentleman out on the North Fork who asked me to call him the next time I had scrap steel. I need to get rid of this no later than 3:30pm, Monday, or it goes to Cart’m.)

I am looking for a car to use this week. It will help me get Ronan to school and me teach down south, and deliver garden kits for work. I am looking for a vehicle Tuesday-Thursday.
My car got stolen from a hotel parking lot near the airport a few weeks ago when I flew out to help my Mom transition out of the hospital. I have been looking around and have gotten close to finding a car, but so far do not have one yet.
So I am just continuing to fit the puzzle pieces together until that lines up.
I appreciate your consideration!
Thank you,
Ariel

We can set you up! This weekend, May 21st and 22nd, we will be having a blowout sale of household items, art supplies, tools, tchochkes and wonders (as in, “I wonder what this is?” and “I wonder who thought this was a good idea?”). We will be putting out more as we go, so check back or email if you are looking for something specific. If it is weird, we may just have one in a closet or hanging from the rafters.
