IRAN, ISRAEL, AND THE USA

Submitted By: dixiedarrow@icloud.com – Click to email about this post
The government of Israel (not its people) requested our country attack IRAN and we did (WHY?), and Pandora’s Box opened.
IRAN CONFIRMS FIRST NUCLEAR WARHEAD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzALlmFsP5c
So here we are!
If it was known that IRAN had a nuclear bomb in the first place, this whole debacle would not be happening. Every other country has
one – why not Iran? A nuclear bomb is a deterrent to war. Why is Israel allowed to have nuclear weapons, and not Iran? The difference in how Israel and Iran are treated regarding nuclear weapons comes down to what? What? Israel is widely believed to possess nuclear weapons but maintains a stance of “nuclear ambiguity” (neither confirming nor denying it), whereas Iran does not officially possess nuclear weapons but is legally barred from pursuing them. WHY?
I think it is good that truths are being revealed -The government of Israel (not its people) controls our government – *Where do they get the money to do that? Israel is such a tiny country, yet they have plenty of money to buy our elected officials, they had attempted to buy Charlie Kirk, and when he refused………There is a lot of fear in considering to refuse Israel’s requests. Our country, supposedly the greatest superpower in the world, does what the government of Israel requests…. WHY?
And we just signed an arrangement with Israel to fund them militarily!

Iran treats it people horribly and Israel commits genocides!
Hmmmmmmm – Why is our country involved in this? Money, money, money, I guess

*. So I am thinking that the government of Israel is probably running trafficking programs – weapons, child, drugs, human, etc. lots of money in that! They probably have something to do with Epstein. That just occurred to me as a possibility.
Anyway. here we are…….

NCCWP PRESENTS: The North Coast Temperate Rainforest Isn’t Disappearing — It’s Gone

Submitted By: coyotevibe@yahoo.com – Click to email about this post
North Coast Communities for Watershed Protection (NCCWP) is sponsoring a presentation of aerial photographs by Richard Felley entitled:
The North Coast Temperate Rainforest Isn’t Disappearing — It’s Gone Tuesday, August 25, 6pm Doors open at 5:30pm St. Mary by the Sea Parish Hall 275 S. Pacific Street, Rockaway Beach Free Admission How much land in Clatsop/Tillamook is forestland transformed by logging and pesticide spraying? Richard Felley will present his aerial photos of clearcuts on private and state forests, with a discussion and information on what you can do about it. He will discuss how the timber industry transforms our native, real forests into clearcuts, and then into tree farms. The aerial photos were taken from a helicopter flying over Tillamook and Clatsop counties. Felley says: “My purpose for acquiring the images is that I have gone into the woods (tree farms) for over 40 years now to cut firewood and I feel most people really just don’t see up close what I have seen. My concern is that these lands can’t handle the kind of rotations that their owners are imposing on them and, combined with a warming, drying local climate, they are cutting their own throats and impacting the watersheds of everyone by continuing business as usual. Many of the images show tree farms that have clearly been planted 10 to 20 years ago with much die off occurring and no replanting occurring either. In a word I simply call it mismanagement.”
Just as the salmon inspire you to keep swimming upstream, let us keep speaking up to advocate for healthy forests and clean drinking water for all.
NCCWP wants no more logging and pesticide use in community drinking water sources regardless of who owns the land, and wants an end to pesticide applications near where people live, work, and recreate. Safe drinking water and clean air are part of the public trust that we all are entitled to have. Please help North Coast Communities for Watershed Protection safeguard and restore our drinking watersheds.

Meet Nehalem Bay’s Emergency Preparedness Leaders!

Submitted By: kristin.mclaughlin@evcnb.org – Click to email about this post
The Emergency Volunteer Corps of Nehalem Bay will be at the Manzanita Farmers Market on Friday, August 14 from 4:00 to 7:00, in the parking lot off Manzanita Avenue next to City Hall.
Our tent is open at both ends so you can walk straight through and meet the volunteers behind each of our programs:
CERT. Neighbors trained to respond in the first hours after a disaster.
Medical Reserve Corps. Medical and non medical volunteers ready to staff emergency care.
WaSH. Safe water and sanitation when the taps and toilets stop working.
GoBag. What to pack so you can leave your house in under five minutes.
Prepare Your Neighborhood. How your street gets organized before anything happens.
Neighborhood Radio. Staying in touch with your block when the phones go quiet.
Shelters. Where people go when they cannot safely stay in their homes.
Mass Care. The coordination behind all of it. Standing up a site like this one, working alongside our partner agencies and getting the right people and equipment where they need to be. Friday is a working demonstration of exactly that.
The MRC trailer will be open for walk through tours, and we will have Starlink running so you can see how we stay connected when the usual communication lines go down. Our friends at Nehalem Bay Fire and Rescue plan to join us as well.
Come with your questions. What goes in a GoBag. How your neighborhood gets organized. What happens to water after a big quake. Where people go if they cannot stay in their homes. We would rather answer those questions on a sunny Friday afternoon than during an emergency.
Thinking about volunteering? Stop by our table to check out the Volunteer Welcome Packet and fill out a Volunteer Interest Form. EVCNB’s new Volunteer Coordinator will be there to help get you started.
