Still in pretty good shape from a comfort perspective. There is a hole in the cushion and it needs some TLC (cleaning, scuff marks covered, etc.) Sofa has been well loved by humans and dogs and just doesn’t have a spot in our new home.
Needs to be picked up in Arch Cape – we should be able to help with loading. Please email: alyleibow@gmail.com

Topics of Tony’s presentation will include the life cycle of Eelgrass, common misconceptions, research methods, current activity and recent findings regarding the status of our Eelgrass beds. This presentation will be followed by a brief 15min Q&A where you can ask questions and learn more about the impacts of Eelgrass in our Bays.
It is important to note that this is an educational presentation and the purpose of this is to learn more about Eelgrass as a species and its current status in our Bays.
All policy questions and opinions regarding management change should be directed through email to odfw.commission@odfw.oregon.gov or directed at the ODFW Commission at the next meeting on March 17th where there is a forum for public comment and the commissioners can then discuss those regulatory changes. If you have any questions on this process visit www.dfw.state.or.us/agency/commission/.

This Volunteer STEAM Coach Training is for new and returning STEAM Coaches who want to volunteer for spring and summer programs. Register for the training here: www.eventbrite.com/e/steam-coach-volunteer-training-tickets-512274465717
Across the county, a partnership of 20 local organizations works together to provide a variety of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) programs to Tillamook County K-12 students. Together this partnership offers students numerous experiential education programs including environmental science field trips, farm-to-table school gardens, science fairs, cultural programming, research projects, professional development, and more. Each year, hundreds of students participate in these programs, which are made possible by volunteer STEAM Coaches.
In order to offer these community-enriching programs, the TC STEAM Partnership needs volunteer STEAM Coaches to fulfill a variety of roles. STEAM Coaches are people who believe all students should be able to learn about STEAM subjects through educational experiences that are hands-on and inquiry-based.
STEAM Coaches don’t need to be experts, they just need to be passionate about helping students learn! We look forward to seeing you at our next training!
This training will include an orientation session for new STEAM Coach Volunteers, a discussion group focused on past volunteer experiences for returning STEAM Coaches, a history tour of the USCG Boathouse, a catered lunch, and hands-on demonstrations of upcoming field trip activities.
For questions about this training or if you cannot attend but would like to learn about future opportunities, please contact Rachel@tbnep.org.
The TC STEAM Partnership organizations that are co-hosting this training and sharing volunteer information for upcoming programs include:
Tillamook School District #9
Friends of Netarts Bay Watershed, Estuary, Beach and Sea (WEBS)
Tillamook Estuaries Partnership
Juntos Afuera
Food Roots
Garibaldi Cultural Heritage Initiative
Heart of CARTM, and more partner organizations.
