*All are welcome – Family friendly events – Come as you are –no dance experience needed.
*Bring a water bottle and layers.
*Bring kindness and respect for yourself and others and your willingness to explore and to dive into the ecstasy of spirit available through movement.
*No outside shoes on the dance floor if possible (dirty floors aren’t fun to roll around on)
*Please no strong scents.
*We ask that you limit talking during the dance set. Set up, break time, and the foyer area are great places to have longer conversations to limit distractions for others.

CURTAIN PANELS FOR SLIDING GLASS DOOR

Submitted By: sheila.bayside@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hello BBQ Friends

I am looking for some tab, grommet or ring top curtain panels that are large enough to pull over a sliding glass door. The door is in a bedroom and requires something for privacy at night. Affordable or discard-free is more important than beautiful. Clean and odor free is a must. While opaque enough for privacy is essential blackout curtains are not my first choice because the person in the bedroom will probably struggle to wakeup in the morning if they are blackout curtains.

Looking forward to what the bbq cornucopia sends our way! Thank you !

More Free Stuff!!!

Still looking for a home for an antique dining table and 4 chairs as well as:

Teak shelving unit from the 60’s in perfect shape

Table 6 from Blue Sky Cafe days. This table was made by Steve Ruffo back in the 80’s and served us well at the cafe for 17 years. It’s also been used as a desk and a craft work station so has a few “memories” from that but it’s solid oak, heavy-duty and the top comes off for easy transporting.

Also, more free household stuff if intested.

12 ANGRY JURORS
Based on the award-winning movie 12 Angry Men starring Henry Fonda.
On a hot summer day after a lengthy trial, a jury must decide whether a 19-year-old man is guilty of murdering his father.
The jury votes 11-1 that the man is guilty of the crime, but the law requires a unanimous vote by all 12 jurors to pass judgment.
Tempers flare as the eleven jurors try to convince the 1 dissenter to come to their side.
However, as the evidence is re-examined, new uncertainties come to light, forcing everyone to honestly question whether there is some measure of “reasonable doubt”.
Twelve Angry Jurors is a courtroom thriller that puts you on the edge of your seat while powerfully exploring what it means to live in a democracy.
Directed by Frank Squillo.

Meet the Artist at Farmers Market

Local artist Lori Dillon will be on hand at Manzanita’s first Farmers Market of the season this Friday, May 26 to personalize and autograph copies of this year’s new 4th of July parade poster. The commemorative prints cost $30 each, and proceeds will help fund the parade.

The traditional, small-town celebration, a highlight of any summer, was suspended for three years, due to concerns about the pandemic.

The posters can also be purchased at the Manzanita Visitor Center — open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Copies of several previous years’ collectible posters are available.

Information about the parade, including participation applications and support opportunities, can be found at the Manzanita visitors’ website: visitmanzanita.org
