The November Art Show at the NCRD Gallery is a community show. Local artists are invited to submit 3 Ready-to-Hang Works on any subject.

Intake is Wednesday, Nov. 1.

The show will be hung on Thursday.

The artists are invited to Scone Friday, on Nov. 3 at 10 am for an informal opening, in the Gallery. Scones, coffee and tea will be served.

Friends of NCRD Spring Bulb Sales

Well, we got the rain back! What does this mean for Friends of North County Recreation District (NCRD) flower sales? Friends will do their best to have bouquets at our regular spot, next to the Manzanita Deli in downtown Manzanita, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as long as the wind and rain allow. AND do remember, the Friends of NCRD fall planted/spring blooming bulb sale. I will be at NCRD on Wednesday and Friday of this week from 10 AM to Noon with a booklet of full color pictures of all the bulbs we will have for you to plant. Reserve now! Early ordering ensures the availability of your choices. As in the past Friends has a limited number of amaryllis and paperwhites for your indoor planting in late November. All bulbs will come with planting instructions. I’ll see you at NCRD on Wednesday and Friday 10 AM to Noon. Or call me and leave a message, Patty-503-801-3534. Dance Etiquette/Tips:
~All are welcome – Family friendly events – Come as you are.
~Bring a water bottle and layers.
~Bring kindness and respect for yourself and others and your willingness to explore and to dive into the ecstasy of spirit available through movement.
~No outside shoes on the dance floor if possible (dirty floors aren’t fun to roll around on)
~Please no strong scents.
~We ask that you limit talking during the dance set. Set up, break time, and the foyer area are great places to have longer conversations to limit distractions for others.
~We are encouraging everyone to be mindful of each other’s safety and health and stay home if you are not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone sick. Follow your own judgment on whether to wear a mask or not.

We need a few used artificial Christmas trees for the upcoming production of A CHRISTMAS STORY.

They don’t have to be in great shape; the slimmer the better, not too tall.

They’ll be used as props during the scene at the Christmas Tree lot.

An apology for closing our schools from the OHA and the Governor’s office would go a long way for the people of Oregon. It would be especially meaningful to our children.

Has anyone in Oregon government run the numbers? How many more Oregonians would be alive today if Governor Brown made decisions according to common sense, science and reason instead of bending the knee for homicidal narcissist liar Anthony Fauci and the corrupt murderous billionaires at Pfizer? How many more Oregonians would be alive today if she made the sane, calm, science-based decison to BE LIKE SWEDEN?

Oregonians need Nuremburg 2.0 right now. We cannot let them get away with killing us like this; we can’t let them get away with destroying so many of our children’s lives.

And across the river, the World Economic Forum’s goon Jay Inslee is just as stupid about science, also on his knees for Pfizer and willing to kill his constituents for them, and just as guilty of murdering Washingtonians as Gov. Brown is of murdering Oregonians. What a loser he is. What a loser they both are. Where are the lawsuits? These two murderous Big Pharma/Big Tech-loving politicians should be in jail for life.
