IT’S TIME TO GET TOGETHER ONCE AGAIN AND DO A LITTLE CRAFTING, SO MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR WEDNESDAY JANUARY 15TH. WE WILL MEET IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL OF NEHALEM BAY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH AT 10 a.m. AND ENJOY A FEW HOURS OF NEEDLEWORK, SEWING, PAINTING, PAPER CRAFTING OR WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE TO WORK ON. BRING YOUR EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES AND JOIN US FOR THE DAY. (YOU MIGHT WANT TO BRING A LUNCH, TOO). I WILL HAVE THE COFFEE POT ON AND HOT WATER FOR TEA.
IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO WORK ON, COME AND MAYBE LEARN SOMETHING NEW. I KNOW THAT I USUALLY BRING ENOUGH TO SHARE. JUST THINK, YOU MIGHT LEARN SOMETHING NEW IN THE NEW YEAR.
ANY QUESTIONS, CONTACT BOBBIE AT 425-785-1057.
These are not mine but belonged to a person who posted them on the bbq recently so my info of their history is limited.

The course is offered free of charge, sponsored by the Tolovana Arts Colony.
“It is extremely important for us to support the young people in our community,” says Arts Colony board member Cindy Richter. “We want to support young people any way we can—and especially in the arts. And we want to make sure everyone who wants to participate is able to attend.”
Students aged 11-to-16 are invited to attend each week, but drop-ins are welcome anytime as every class will be offered as a standalone unit.
The course will be taught by Andrea Mace. It runs from 3:00-to-4:30PM at Tolovana Hall. Supplies are provided and all skill levels are welcome.
Tolovana Hall is located at 3779 S Hemlock in Cannon Beach. For more, visit tolovanaartscolony.org, email tolovanaartscolony@gmail.com or call 541-215-4445

We’re Ranger EV, a small, Portland-based startup with roots right here on the Oregon Coast in Manzanita. Some of us live in Portland and one of our team members, Lydia, is lucky to call this beautiful coastline home! We’ve teamed up with local Manzanita business, Sunset to Sunset, to bring something exciting to the Oregon Coast: Ranger Stations!
What’s a Ranger Station?
A Ranger Station is more than just an EV charger—it’s a way to make your home or vacation rental a haven for electric vehicle travelers while helping reduce carbon emissions. Whether it’s in your personal driveway or for your guests at your vacation rental, a Ranger Station lets people charge while they sleep—no more detouring to fast chargers in Tillamook or Warrenton.
Why Ranger EV?
We’re engineers, surfers, writers, outdoor enthusiasts, software developers, scientists, and environmentalists who share a deep love for the PNW. We understand the magic of the Oregon Coast and we want to protect it and make it more accessible for electric vehicles.
By hosting a Ranger Station, you’re joining a mission to:
– Ease EV travelers’ “charging anxiety”
– Welcome more visitors to your home or rental
– Offset energy costs with easy shared payment options
– Be part of a growing community helping to make EV travel more sustainable
We’re already working locally and would love for you to join us. If you’re a homeowner or own a vacation rental and want to add an EV charger, let’s chat!
