SEE IT THIS WEEKEND! ‘THE MOUSETRAP’ BY AGATHA CHRISTIE AT NCRD. 3 FINAL PERFORMANCES!

Submitted By: admin@riverbendplayers.org – Click to email about this post

SEE IT THIS WEEKEND! THE FINAL PERFORMANCES!

Riverbend Players launched the 2025 season with our first-ever Agatha Christie murder mystery—playing to huge crowds!

With five remaining shows, THE MOUSETRAP runs through March 16th at the NCRD Performing Arts Center in Nehalem.

THE MOUSETRAP by Agatha Christie
Directed by Randy Schultz:

A classic murder mystery occurs in Monkswell Manor, a guesthouse where a snowstorm traps a group of strangers.

As news arrives of a murder nearby, the guests realize that the killer might be among them.

Detective Sergeant Trotter arrives to investigate, but as tensions rise and secrets are uncovered, another murder occurs.

The play is famous for its surprise twist ending, and audiences are traditionally asked to keep the plot’s resolution a secret.

The Mousetrap holds the world record as the longest-running play, debuting in 1952 and remaining continuously on stage.

Get your 2025 SEASON PASS now and save 20% on tickets. It’s only available until March 16th.

Tickets and the 2025 SEASON PASS are available now at www.RiverbendPlayers.org

RIVERBEND PLAYERS IN SEARCH OF A JUKEBOX FOR UPCOMING STAGE PLAY

Submitted By: fsquillo@riverbendplayers.org – Click to email about this post

Riverbend Players is looking to borrow a jukebox for the upcoming production of the hit comedy SORDID LIVES.

The jukebox can be from any era and doesn’t have to be in working order; we need it as a prop for one of the scenes on stage.

We would need it for about 6 weeks, and it would be in a safe space at the NCRD Performing Arts Center in Nehalem.

We’ll make sure you have plenty of complimentary tickets to the show so you can come admire your jukebox on stage.

Many of these are available in the Portland area, but we hope someone here might have one stashed away that they wouldn’t mind letting us use.

Email me at fsquillo@riverbendplayers.org if you or someone you know has one.

Hello Coastal Community Creatives

We will be meeting again this Thursday at the White Clover Grange from 1:00 – 4:00. Dori Bash will be back this week to continue her Introduction to Quilting series. This week she will be showing us a 9″ Ohio Star block using quarter square triangles. If quilting isn’t your jam, just bring whatever project you happen to be working on and get to know someone new! Don’t forget to bring your Food Bank Donations and a few dollars (optional) for the Grange building maintenance fund. We have been having a lot of fun, (I know I seriously need that right now)! I am also taking sign-ups for a future Saturday workshop (date to be announced) called: “Hi, I’m your sewing machine. Let’s get to know each other!”. There will be a suggested donation of $20 for this workshop. I have over 55 years (whew!) of sewing experience and would love to share some of that experience with you! Cindy Erickson

WATT – USA – 14” ovenware bowl

Submitted By: Artwithmisskaren@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
This girl has been in my last 5 homes and used only 1 time to put Halloween candy on the front porch of a past house. I’m new to the area and as I unpack I’m finding I just don’t have the space in this small house for things I don’t use.
It was purchased in an antique shop on the east coast (Pennsylvania) likely 30+ years ago. I collected this pattern and sold the others before I moved to the coast but held on to this one because….. well, it’s just super cool and unique.
So if you got the space to display it. And cook meals/gather with people. She’ll make a great conversation piece with your delicious food in it.
I’m asking 60$.
Let me know if you have any further questions
It’s located in the north end of cannon beach.

Be safe out there and we’ll talk soon.
