Hungary’s Orban doesn’t wan war with Russia, and he’s a Christian. No wonder the Democrats are attacking him!

OH NO! WOLDN’T WANT DIRECT TALKS WITH RUSSIA! JUST SEND MORE AMERICAN BOMBS TO KILL MORE OF EVERYONE OVER THERE!!! (Then steal trillions of the minerals under Ukrainian soil!)

The author included a quote from Democracy Now!’s Juan Gonzales. I met Amy Goodman years back, during one of her book-tour stops in Wokeland. Sadly, in my view, she has gone down the $oros ‘destroy-America’ rabbit hole. When Dubya and Dick were murdering Muslims all over the Middle East AND working to destroy our civil liberties here in America, Amy was on it, but when Dems are doing the same (Biden Admin, Obama Admin), like most Dem party members, she turns a blind eye, save the trendy Gaza stance.

(For what it’s worth, In a previous post I typed a Russian military-death-toll from WW2 as 50-million, I meant 5-million. And yes, without Russia’s involvement, we would be speaking German in America.)

And while I called the Ukraine War a Democrat war, it is, like all American wars, actually a bi-partisan war: make billions murdering folks, then steal trillions of their resources.

Here is The First Lady of Congress, Republican Lynsie Graham, on the REAL reason America and NATO spent ten years and a billion dollars (of USAID money btw) overthrowing the Ukrainian gov’t in 2014 (Obama) and otherwise worked to provoke Russia into a Ukrainian invasion:

In viewing what DOGE is doing, I see the same thing. They say millions of 150 year-olds are getting Social Security. The “doge bros” didn’t bother to ask why these millions of people all have the same birth date – it must have been a very busy day in 1875. This claim is so obviously a lie, I’m surprised that anyone would believe it but I know some do. According to Pew Research, there are approximately 101,000 people in the US over 100. According to the Social Security Administration, around 74,000 receive benefits. Clearly, this is nowhere near the millions of people that DOGE has claimed.
Having been a software engineer for longer than these guys have been alive, I know it is common practice to have an arbitrary date in the past to indicate that the data wasn’t provided. I have seen systems with a default date of 1900 so, to me, this makes sense. And, yes, I have seen dates like these in government systems.

I would need more information before I would believe they are all getting social security because social security benefits are paid by social security number, not birth date. Another important date is DOD (date of death). In this case, the benefits end or can revert to the spouse, if still living. DOGE, of course, didn’t consider this either since it wouldn’t make for a sensational press release.

Also, there was great fanfare when DOGE published a list of all the “savings” they are finding. They were forced to remove the top 5 “savings” because it was pointed out that the billions of dollars were greatly inflated. In some cases, they claimed credit for canceling contracts that the previous administration had already canceled. No, DOGE didn’t tell anyone, they just removed them from the website. I wonder why?

When viewing what the current administration is doing, I tend to remember the coffee cups on TV. They are performative and meant to convey a point of view but what they really are is devoid of substance and without a context in reality. They are for show. Using common sense and digging a little reveals how empty they are.

There was a response to a post entitled, ‘ The democrats destroyed Ukraine; please stop referring to this as Trump’s war’. The respondent used the first sentence in the post to disregard any of the many points that followed. This could be considered a straw man argument.

It’s clear that the whole area around Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Belarus, Hungary, Russia has traded borders and people for centuries, which means that it is complicated. So many overlapping ethnicities and every single one can call up grievances of horrendous mistreatment by others; loved ones lost in conflict is history carried by families that’s different from history read in a book. Conflicts end and new lines are drawn on the maps and guess what, yesterday I was Polish but today I’m Ukrainian, or Russian, or Romanian.

Nations agree to new borders, new beginnings, new trade and security arrangements, give their word once again but deep wounds are so easily reopened if care is not taken. It’s not a simple matter to understand why Ukraine has been destroyed, but here are links to speeches by knowledgeable statesmen who foresaw and forewarned the world about pursuing those paths that began the destruction, that can help educate. Professor Stephen Cohen, Jeffery Sachs, John Mearscheimer, Colonel Douglas MacGregor, Scott Ritter, Claire Daley, Oliver Stone, are just a few. Despite what we all hear, the Russians did everything they could to avoid this war, do not wish to continue it and have absolutely no desire or intention to go beyond their stated goals: a neutral Ukraine, not run by Nazis and no NATO.
