As North County Food Bank winds down operation at the old Wheeler Hospital, we need to dispose of the remaining clothing in our clothing bank. Please come and find some clothes for you, your family, your neighbors, or anyone!

We mostly have women’s tops and pants as well as lots of clothes for babies and toddlers. Unfortunately, we do not have much men’s clothing, though we do have a few very nice suits.

Please come during food bank open hours The back door near the Care Center entrance will be open, or you can come through the garage.

We have offered the clothing to Nehalem Bay Community Services and the Hope Chest, but they are full. We’d love to see it stay in the community.

Tuesday, October 15
12 pm to 3 pm.
278 Rowe St.
Wheeler, OR

Food distribution will be at our temporary location, the former site of the Nehalem Bay Clinic, starting October 21. Unfortunately, there is no room for a clothing bank at this location.

Free – Antique chair

Got this chair from a neighbor thinking I would paint it with bright crazy flowers and use it in the studio loft. But I’ve just got too many projects. It has a water stain in the seat from a potted plant that sat on it for a spell but would probably scrub out.
Otherwise the upholstery is solid. The wood could use a polish as well. Original Metal wheels on the feet.

Free faux wood blind

Free white faux wood blind. Has 2” slats and is 96 3/4 “ wide and 46 “ tall. Never used. It arrived from the company with a dent in the top metal portion, the trim shown in the other pic attaches magnetically and hides the dent, but the company replaced it for us and did not want it back. Habitat and Goodwill will not take blinds and it is a shame for this to go to the landfill. Yours for the taking in Manzanita.

Free Roosters

2 happy, healthy roosters free to a good home! Willing to separate if you don’t want both.

Approximately 6 months old. They have feathers on their feet but we’re unsure of the exact breed. Very friendly, they’ve been handled by children since we got them as chicks last May. Comfortable with dogs, cats, and other animals.

Call/text 971-341-1606 if interested. Can meet you in North Tillamook County area.
