Free – Brother HL-5240 laser printer

Submitted By: clean_streams_oceans@me.com – Click to email about this post
I have a laser printer that I can no longer use because after the latest OS update on my Mac I can no longer get a print driver for it.

If you’re not working on OS Sonoma, and want to give it a try, let me know and I’ll put the two of you together. I’d rather give it to you than retire it to solid waste. But please, no give-backs!!

I suggest you first look to be sure you can get a driver for it. Also, I don’t know how much toner is left, but its cartridges are still available.

I have a lot of great teaching resources to give away! If you are an elementary teacher or homeschooler, perhaps you might be interested. Lots of natural science resource books, literacy, writing, inquiry, math, etc. If you are interested, I can email some photos of some of the things I have. I just hate to toss them or take them to Goodwill. Thanks!

Game Table (top only)

Submitted By: gary_chin@icloud.com – Click to email about this post
Game table. 42″ diameter. Solid Oak.
You can set it up for Chess/Checkers or remove the hardwood squares for Chinese Checkers.

Note that this is only the table top. You will need to build or buy a base separately. We set it up on a wooden box years ago as a coffee table and it worked great.

There is a crack in the top that has been repaired.

We also have chess and checker game pieces if you’re interested.

Free.
Call or text Gary if interested.

I have some good stuff that need new homes.

1. One gallon of Miller Rosy Cheeks paint (a violet pink color.) I changed my mind on the color before I even opened the can.( I went darker). If you’re interested, email me and I’ll paint a color sample for you.

2. Queen sized box spring and Hollywood frame (metal.) Like new. I’m switching to a platform bed. So get your mattress off the floor. I’ll even throw in a white dust ruffle if you can use it.

Exercise free

Submitted By: dkpark@nehalemtel.net – Click to email about this post
An Active 20 exercise bike by Schwinn in excellent condition except all the bells and whistles are gone. All the electronics have been removed because they no longer worked. In place is a simple control panel with a single switch and two lights. Push the switch up to increase resistance on the pedals, push down to decrease resistance. The top light indicates maximum resistance, the lower light indicates minimum resistance. This function works great, just no bells or whistles. Two C size batteries operate the motor that controls the resistance. The price is right; FREE! You load and haul.

2024 Compost Calendar Scraps to Soil Made this for a friend but she said she didn’t want it See pics

“Compost Calendar”. I made this 2024 “Scraps to Soil” calendar and gave it to a friend but she gave it back and she said she didn’t want to use it! Anyway its a very good idea so now giving it away.

Anyway the idea is like an advent calendar for composting and each month you can see what happens to the scraps….
——“SPOILER” alert——
By December it all turns into
—–SURPRISE—-
nicely composted dirt!!
(Centerfold has some of the “worms” of the year.)

Posting for a “friend”.
