The annual Polar Plunge is back!
New Year’s Day at 11:00 AM at Neahkahnie Beach
HOWEVER: This year, conditions are a bit different, so please read the following carefully.
Important Information for your safety:
KING TIDES: Water level is expected to reach 9.6 ft at plunge time. Please be aware!
BEACH TERRAIN: There will be logs and debris along the shore and floating in the water as the waves come in!
BONFIRE: No beach fire will be available this year, as any areas are too close to dune grass.
ACESS: Entry will most likely be from the road, as usable beach space may be limited.
Safety Reminder:
Participation carries inherent risks. Please take personal responsibility for your safety and of those around you!
Despite these precautions, the plunge is a fun and invigorating way to kick off the New Year! Come prepared, stay safe, and enjoy the experience.
“I’m sharing this out of concern to help keep everyone safe.”
P.S. YOU MAY WANT TO WAIT AND DO IT LATER IN THE DAY, IT WILL STILL COUNT 🙂
Be well,

We’ve just passed the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year. Come dance the energy of crossing a threshold. We are nearing the end of the Year of the Snake (Chinese astrology). Come dance the energy of a snake shedding its skin. We are nearing the end of a “9” year (Numerology 2+0+2+5) -known as a year of completion. Come dance the energy of going through a portal. What wants to, needs to, demands to, be left behind? The energy of endings, of walking through doorways that you can no longer return through, of karmic closure, of releasing, of sloughing off, of moving forward into your truest self and your truest purpose is everywhere right now. I am feeling this SO INTENSELY. You? Let us come together and help move it along. Let’s find what is stuck or numb or congealed in our bodies and loosen it, return it to flow and let it go. We are right on time.

CHILD X: A MEMOIR OF SLAVERY, POVERTY, CELEBRITY, AND SCIENTOLOGY.
Jamie Mustard was born into one of the most influential fringe movements in the 1970s: Scientology.
Raised on a mythos of spaceships and made to believe his life’s purpose was to help save the world, he was determined to survive not only neglect but also the physical and psychological damage caused by extreme poverty and illiteracy.
“A vivid, compelling and heartrending memoir.” —Booklist
