As we close the curtain on our run of MISERY, I want to extend my deepest congratulations and gratitude to the incredible cast and crew who brought this intense and unforgettable story to life.
Your dedication, talent, and hard work made this production something truly special!
Community theater only works because of the passion and commitment of so many people behind the scenes, actors, directors, stage managers, stagehands, designers, technicians, ushers, and box office volunteers.
Thank you for giving your time and your talent so generously!
And to our wonderful community, thank you for showing up, filling the seats, and supporting local theater here in North County.
Your enthusiasm and encouragement mean everything to us and make productions like this possible.
We’re so grateful to share the stage with you and look forward to seeing you again in June for THE ODD COUPLE by Neil Simon.
With appreciation,

PRESS RELEASE – CITY OF [REDACTED] ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP TRANSITION
The City of [Redacted] today announced the resignation of Manager Harlene J. Grump, effective as soon as possible as she pursues bold new horizons that will surely appreciate her unparalleled vigilance and unyielding commitment to self-preservation.
Manager Grump brought extraordinary intensity to municipal leadership, maintaining a razor-sharp awareness of potential threats—real or perceived—from every corner of the organization and beyond. Her protective stance toward sensitive documentation ensured that critical information remained secure under the most challenging circumstances, often in the face of imagined—or occasionally real—adversarial forces.
A true innovator in workplace acoustics, Manager Grump optimized the office soundscape with dynamic audio enhancements to foster focus and minimize distractions, creating an environment where productivity could thrive amid robust interpersonal dynamics. Her forward-thinking embrace of extended remote strategic engagement allowed her to direct operations from a fortified, low-exposure setting, thereby safeguarding executive well-being while generously supporting the local legal economy through sustained high-volume professional engagements.
The City Council expresses profound appreciation for Manager Grump’s tireless efforts to document—thoroughly and defensively—every conceivable challenge, her creative curation of operational narratives, and her passionate defense against the numerous forces she believed were arrayed against her progress.
Mayor [Redacted] stated, “Harlene’s departure stirs deeply mixed emotions—primarily delight, seasoned with extreme happiness. We wish her every success in her next chapter, hopefully one with fewer imagined enemies and better soundproofing.”
A nationwide search will begin for a successor who can match Manager Grump’s legendary talent for transforming routine governance into high-drama, high-cost theater.
Questions will not be taken. For everyone’s safety.

It is with great excitement we invite you to participate in our 27th Annual Chili Cookoff at the Upstairs Bar and Grill in Netarts. We have had the pleasure of hosting this event for 26 years as a benefit for Tillamook Hospice.
Tillamook Hospice provides a wide variety of invaluable home health and respite services to those in need, as well as support services to the families of Hospice clients. We are very proud to host this near and dear to our hearts annual benefit and look forward raising much needed funds for an incredible organization. Last year we raised $6,176 with our silent auction and chili cook off. This year our goal is $10,000. With your help we have a chance to meet or beat this goal!
Here is how you can help further our goal this year:
1. Please consider contributing an item to our Silent Auction. The item can be donated by an individual or a business. Some items that auction off very well (think bidding wars!) are; gift certificates, gift baskets, bottles of wine, charter trips, night stays at a vacation home, guided fishing trips, art, jewelry, hour massages, spa treatments, apparel, homemade items, baskets to create memories! etc.
The list is only as big as one’s imagination and willingness to donate.
2.Please mark your calendar now and plan to attend the auction on Saturday, March 21st. The event begins at 11am. Winners of the cook off will be announced at 4pm followed by winners of the auction. We encourage you to bring a friend and your checkbook!
Please reach out for more questions!
