(Washington, D.C.) – In a new video, Oregon’s U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley hosts his colleagues Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), and Tina Smith (D-MN) in presenting the ‘America in Jeopardy’ program.
“We have come together to present this special ‘America in Jeopardy’ program to show the breadth and depth of Trump’s mile-deep swamp of corruption,” said Merkley. “Trump’s corruption is deadly serious, costing American families and devastating for our democratic republic.”
Acting as host, Merkley posed clues to the Senator contestants from the categories of: Slush Funds, Selling Pardons, Crypto Corruption and Prediction Markets, Profiting Off the Presidency, and Foreign Influence. In the final round, the contestants offered solutions presented by Senate Democrats to fight Trump’s corruption and restore government “of, by, and for the people.”
