We are in need of a few new volunteers at Nehalem Bay Food Pantry (a program of Nehalem Bay Community Services). We are the only food pantry in the county that is open 4 days a week so we are quite busy and it takes a number of folks to keep open and able to give the best service in terms of food resources and compassion. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to one 4 hour shift a week. Flexibility is possible for each person. We also are looking for a couple of people who can offer tech support and/or data entry, perhaps on your own time. Someone who can help with translations into Spanish would also be great. And a big hope is to find someone who may be interested in learning to serve as assistant manager. Big asks, I know. If you would like to hear more or visit us please contact me at the above email.
