i attended the play The Silent Measure friday night 7/17 at NCRD. written by Brian Churchill, it is his debut play as an author.
an exploration about relationship between AI and humans, i didn’t know what to expect. i wasn’t sure i would like it. because truth be told, i’m not a fan of AI (sometimes, i think i would like to assassinate AI).
one actress on stage in her home, one behind the screen of the AI robotic presence, the dialogue was REAL. the acting was superb. the dialogue believable and holding my interest.
i strongly urge you who missed this play to attend at the Coaster Theater in Cannon beach, 3 dates in august, or 3 dates in september at the Ten Fifteen Theater in Astoria.
