I met Ginger Matyas in 2022, she was walking a dog in our quiet neighborhood. I assumed she was walking her own dog, she described it’s personality and ‘likes’ and the dog was confidently sniffing and doing dog things. Then Ginger let me know she was a pet sitter. I felt an immediate connection, honesty, and warmness towards her and took Ginger’s name and contact info. People around here are always looking for a reliable pet sitter, and I wanted to be able to share her name. After that, I would spot Ginger in different neighborhoods of Manzanita, with a dog or two at the end of the leash. And we usually stop and visit a second, or at least give a wave.
Finding out she had been a pet sitter for 42 years came as no surprise.
I feel you will find Ginger will ask all of the right questions about your dog(s) or cat(s), follow your list of ‘to dos’ and lovingly proceed with watching your pet in the most professional and efficient way possible.
