We just had our first big win of someone posting a project to the Contractor Hub website and a contractor actually doing the work! The site works! Please keep in mind that it is still early so the more projects we can get posted the more contractors will start to notice and we can get the site working better and better.
Here are the website details for those who are new:
I just launched a simple website called Coastal Contractor Hub to help connect homeowners and local contractors here in Manzanita, Nehalem, Wheeler and Tillamook/Clatsop county.
The idea is pretty straightforward:
* If you have a project (big or small), you can post it for free in less than a minute, no sign ups required.
* Local contractors can reach out if they’re interested
* I help connect the right people — without all the clutter or ads of bigger national platforms
It’s meant for the kind of jobs we all deal with out here: rot repairs, decks, landscaping, tree work, plumbing, electrical, remodels… even the random “can anyone help with this?” projects.
A few goals behind it:
* Keep work local
* Make it easier to find reliable help
* Give local contractors more visibility
* Keep it simple and community-driven

Post a project – the more projects we have up the better the site will become.
If you’re a contractor:
Browse jobs and reach out to the homeowner if you are interested. Jump on early and add your name to the directory!
