Qigong at NCRD has a seasonal health focus

Hello Community,

Reminder to join us for qigong now in the Riverview room at NCRD in the main building. You can check with the front desk if you don’t know where that is or if you need to get/renew membership, buy a class pass, or drop-in.

Also know, my qigong classes have a seasonal focus. For instance, as we shift from spring to summer, we move from the wood element to fire. (Liver/gallbladder channels move to heart, small intestine and triple warmer channels.) We use movements that bring ease and flow to these channels. Focusing on each energy in it’s season is the optimal time to make good repairs and tune-ups to the parts of the body that are served by those channels energy flow.

If you’re looking to reduce upper body tension, summer is a great time to balance the heart, refine things in our lives and balance our busy-ness with some soothing, flowing, qigong movement.

We’d love to have you join us.

Kindly,
Libby
