Political corruption is out of control and guess who that harms? Apparently we the people are the last line of defense too.
I’ve long said mainstream national media is a waste, just selling commercial time and failing to be of service to the public. Nobody should be watching it (a serious boycott might change things). At the other end of the spectrum, getting news from social media or online videos is a great way to be misinformed. Local news is much better, even Portland’s Fox 12 channel. And many substacks (as Lucy often refers to) are doing a great job. That said, here are some relevant articles:
