The Salmonberry Trail will be partnering with SOLVE to remove invasive species and continue beautifying our Wheeler Demonstration Trail!

Join us to remove invasive species along the Wheeler Segment of the Salmonberry Trail. We will be focusing on the south section of the trail near Waterfront Park in downtown Wheeler. Once the ivy is removed, we want to place wood chips and prepare for planting native species in the fall. We have someone mowing the north section, so we will likely be placing woodchips during the work party, too!

Please bring loppers, a rake, work gloves, water, and a snack for yourself. We will have extra tools and gloves if you do not own any.

The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad will be running a train to Wheeler this day, so we need to make sure we are not in their way by 11:45AM!

We will meet behind the railroad tracks on Marine Dr and Hemlock St (west side of Hwy 101) in Wheeler at 9AM.
