Anyone in these parts ever put on a mini (or larger) carnival? I’m exploring ideas for an event in August I am helping organize (will be local). Where I grew up the carnival came in regularly and I am missing it. There’s no way we could bring in an actual real-sized carnival as we are on a budget and just a group of people, but I’m curious to talk to anyone who have put on similar events or even worked with an actual carnival for ideas. Just want to hear what worked, what didn’t, simple ideas, or if you have a skill/service that you think would work for a “carnival” event (you could charge!) let me know. Thanks 🙂
