Anyone traveling the roads around here have seen elk and or deer on or near the road. My wife and I have got in the habit of turning on our flashers for a couple of minutes to let the on-coming cars know there is something to be careful about.
Unlike Gearheart which recently had its annual elk slaughter where supposedly 78 female elk were mowed down because they were on private property. You know at least half those cows had calves with them. We’d just as soon give the elk a brake and ask others to do the same.
