This Wednesday, November 8th 2023, the Tillamook County Board of Commissioners plan to approve a contract with Columbia Cascade Construction Inc for a $337,600 renovation of the District Attorney’s office. The space to be renovated is stated as 166 sq.ft, which is roughly the square footage of a 11ft x 15ft room. This contract approval will happen at the Commissioners meeting which starts at 9:00am, at Tillamook County Courthouse 201 Laurel Avenue, Tillamook, Oregon 97141. The public is welcome to attend.
The contract consideration is item #7 on the agenda.

My question is, does anyone in the community know any details? What necessitates such a high price for such a small area? Commissioners have not provided public answers thus far.
