A candidate for NCRD position #2, Erin Laskey-Wilson represents the spirit of our North County community and North County Recreation District. Erin grew up in this community, attended Nehalem Elementary School, and learned to swim in the pool at NCRD. After attending U of O, she returned to North County and is raising her three children, the family’s 4th generation in North County, in Nehalem. Erin believes, “It’s important for people who know the history and traditions of our area to serve on the Board.”
Erin is not new to positions of leadership. She served on the New Discovery Preschool Board for six years as a coordinator, fund raiser and enrollment recruiter. She’s active at the White Clover Grange where she helped organize a home-school program during Covid. She’s currently the Chairperson of the “Manzanita 4th of July Parade” Committee. THANK YOU, ERIN!
Erin and her husband are Fitness Center members and long time supporters of the New Pool Project. Their children attended, the youngest currently enrolled in, New Discovery Preschool at NCRD. The boys, now at Nehalem Elementary School, participate in NCRD’s “Learn to Swim” program. Erin understands the interests and needs of working families and local business owners. She’s a licensed real estate broker and has had experience working with her mom, owner of Handy Creek Bakery in Wheeler. Among Erin’s goals as an NCRD Board member are strengthening NCRD’s youth and sports programs and serving the interests of all North County families.
Please join me in supporting Erin Laskey-Wilson for NCRD Board position #2. She knows our community; the values and traditions of our community are ingrained in her. She’s a proven leader in honoring and continuing what makes North County strong and vibrant.
Thank you,
Gail Young
