The ReHomed Art Show is BACK!
Pine Grove Community House will once again be upcycling previously loved art at the 2022 ReHomed Art Show and Sale October 14-16, 2022.

DONATE pre-owned paintings, signed prints, signed photography, sculpture & ceramics. Art should be framed and ready-to-hang. Commissions considered for high-value pieces.

Drop-off art at the
Pine Grove, 225 Laneda Ave, Manzanita:
Friday, Sept 2, 1pm-5pm
Saturday, Sept 17, 11am-3pm
Sunday, Oct 9, 11am-3pm

CELEBRATE opening night!
Friday, Oct 14, from 5pm-8pm
Enjoy & purchase artwork along with complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres. Suggested donation is $10.

This is a pivotal point in time for Manzanita. We need to come together and focus to:

* Revise Manzanita’s Comprehensive Plan to meet community needs.
* Implement recommendations to minimize short-term rental impacts on residential neighborhoods.
* Identify alternative revenue sources to reduce the City’s dependency on visitors to fund basic city services.

Since moving to Manzanita 7 years ago, I’ve been studying how our City functions. I’ve witnessed our democracy in action: attended and participated in City Council, Short Term Rental, Budget and Planning meetings. I am passionate about our opportunity to act together now to shape Manzanita’s future while solving our immediate issues.

I am asking for your vote for a seat on the Manzanita City Council in November. Together we can work to create a framework to make certain that our town remains the wonderful place it is, while paying our bills well into the future.

Much needs to be done. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to it!

Beautiful solid, heavy oak rectangular dining table with 2 leaves and 6 heavy chairs…2 with arms. This is a substantial piece of furniture, very heavy. The chairs are upholstered seats and backs of camden blue cut velvet. $250 for all, you have to see to believe.

Port of Nehalem seeks office manager

The Port of Nehalem is seeking an office manager. This is a part-time position, typically 12 to 15 hours per week. This person answers to the Port’s commissioners and assists them in operating the Port on behalf of taxpayers. Hours and days are negotiable. Currently, the office hours are Monday – Wednesday, 10:00 – 2:00. Wage is negotiable depending on experience. Retirement benefits after three years.

FREE EXCELLENT LOUNGE OUTDOOR CHAIR & GAS MOWER. TECUMSEN GAS MOWER WITH MANUAL. Mower also comes with can of starting fluid. Mower was tuned up in Tillamook earlier this year. Been sitting, needs some TLC to turn over. Is a workhorse when runs!
