Hose and Hose Reel
Posted on May 27, 2023 by North Coast BBQ
Rolling hose reel and 50′ hose available. The plastic hose reel has gotten a bit brittle after several years outside and one side of the storage basket on top is broken; however, the reel still works and it rolls smoothly. The hose is durable with no leaks.
That’s right! Everybody’s favorite city-wide mini-golf tournament is back, Tuesday, June 13th in Cannon Beach!
We’ve got 14 businesses hosting holes this year, each ready to show off their creative and community spirit. And we want to give it up to our hole hosts, who not only sponsor this, the Arts Colony’s biggest annual fundraiser of the year, but make it such a blast!
Thank you’s all around—perhaps a polite “golf clap?”–to our hole hosts:
American Legion Post 168, Basalt Studio, Bruce’s Candy Kitchen, Bill’s Tavern/Cannon Beach Smokehouse, The Bistro, Cannon Beach Arts Association, Cannon Beach Hardware & Public House, The Chocolate Cafe, The Coaster Theatre, The Driftwood, Fetch, Four Paws, Sea Breeze Court, The Waves Hotel
To play the city-wide course, register at Sandpiper Square. The holes open at 1PM and close at 5PM, so be sure to give yourself and your team time to play the whole shebang! Registration costs $15 per golfer, or $50 per foursome—and, really, the more the merrier. (Also, dressing up is highly encouraged. Get funky, be classy, turn up or come in a hot dog outfit—the sky is the limit!)
At the registration booth you can also pick up some tickets for the raffle.
You can also grab some more raffle tix at the 19th Hole Afterparty, Silent Auction and Taco Feed
.
You’ll definitely want to grab some tacos from our friends Alex and Jonathan of The Nest/Dough Dough Bakery after a day of strenuous competition. And wet your whistle with a frosty beverage while you peruse the many fine and fabulous items available at our Silent Auction. (Credit cards accepted, checks and cash are cool too!)
As the Arts Colony board of directors have been combing through the community, seeking donations, we’ve been humbled by Cannon Beach’s support and generosity. Really, this is an event by and for community, and we’re so thankful for ours.
So please, come join us. Get together, get goofy, aim for that Hole in One, and support the Cannon Beach Arts Colony community in one of the most remarkable events anywhere.

The billionaire-instigators have realized that wokeism is the way to get ‘progressives’ to support their billion-dollar taxpayer-funded mass-murder campaigns.
And it works!
There was a very good reason I referred to the Biden Admin as ‘Biden’s Rainbow Coalition of Death’ in a previous post. And it isn’t funny.
Jimmy Done knows this, but he IS funny. What Max says at minute 08:00 is the point I am trying to make here.

P.S. I have a new quote, I changed it a bit from the old Ruskie quote: “Wokeism is the last refuge of a scoundrel”.
Not that you asked, but I define woke folks as: “Southern Baptists who have replaced Jesus with Political Correctness and Satan with Logic and Reason.”
The Intel folks gave woke folks the ring, and being highly irrational and emotion-driven people, they can’t handle the ring, and the billionaire war-makers are exploiting that fact.
Woke war!!!!! How far down the rabbit hole we gonna go people? As I write Ukrainians and Russians are dying en masse because of US. ‘Us’ being America and NATO and everyone who is silent about this atrocity.

‘Lifting the community through education and services that promote healing on all levels”

Please join us at Rising Hearts Studio for a Spiritual Journey Meditation Class facilitated by Jan Boal. This new monthly event will help you journey within and connect to you Spirit Guides. Our forst meeting is Tuesday, June 13th 4-5PM. The fee for this class is $25.
“As far back as I can remember I felt a connection to the earth and animal kingdom. “I just knew” that this was sacred. For over 20 years I have continued my growth in learning about spiritual teachings which eventually led me to becoming a Shamanic Apprentice and then Practitioner emphasized with Ancient Wisdom Healing Knowledge. My strong animal allies and spirit guides have taught, escorted and healed me in my Shamanic journeys. Now, they work through me to help others whether individually or as a community.”

But first, an alternative to the McGill study:
I’m honestly not sure who is right here. There are, of course, a million other reasons NOT to shoot that junk, and I think just about everyone who shot the junk got SARS anyway, right? What increased or decreased that chance may not be known??
Moving on to some great humor!

Pick your plants and put your cash in the bird house on the plant stand, or you can Venmo Kelley and Merle @kelleymerle
Delicious local compost by the 5 gallon bucket, or lovingly prepared for you in a reusable burlap bag for $30/bag.
Our Community Compost Club is getting ready to build an onsite vermiculture bin! In the meantime you can add your food scraps to one of the three bins onsite. Just make sure to read what can and cannot go in there before you feed the worms.
Planter boxes of various sizes are available pre-planted or made to order. We have small, medium, large and a tomato planter to choose from. All boxes are made from reused, upcycled wood by local artisan Mattias Ekstrom. Come take a look, pick the one you want and either buy it fully planted or email us to place your order.
Bird Feeders include a bottle style feeder where you fill a bottle with seeds and as they eat the seeds are released into the tray; and two traditional style feeders in medium or large. Super cute!
All prices are marked. If you want to pay something different feel free. Just put the money in the birdhouse or Venmo us.
Trellises available in three different sizes. Email queenbee@dirtybirdsgardencenter.com to get photos and measurements.
Check out our website for up and coming events, and feel free to suggest your own. This is a space for the community to explore, learn and reconnect with each other in ways that benefit you, us and this beautiful place we inhabit.
