CB Summer Art Camp! – PROJECT OFF THE GRID
Morning 10 – 12pm and Afternoon 1 – 3pm Sessions.
This collaborative puzzle class, will explore the theme of local ecology, focusing on land, seascapes, native flora and fauna.
The main project for this class is to create an acrylic painting using a reference photo that has been sectioned into a grid. The artists will be tasked with completing a panel over the course of the week. The final showcase will connect each student’s personal investigation to reveal a larger painting. Photos of the collaborative painting will be taken as a memento for each student, before taking their individual piece home.
Students will learn to use viewfinders, experience outdoor exploration and sketching, as well as many surprise treats and activities throughout the week.
