Mussel Foraging and Cooking Demonstration as part of Neskowin’s Farm & Feast Event in Neskowin, OR.
We will gather where the forest meets the sea to see first-hand how to forage for food in the intertidal ecosystems of the Oregon Coast, using sustainable techniques for harvesting. Alanna will harvest all mussels for the group to taste during the cooking demonstration.
We will discuss the general oceanography and ecology of our rocky shores, as well as identify various edible species that are abundant on our shores, including mussels, barnacles, and seaweed.
Witness a beachside cooking demonstration and tasting of our foraged goods, paired with local Wolfmoon bread & Carola Wines.
After this foraging demonstration, Neskowin’s Farm and Feast will be going on with various food and wine vendors all around Oregon.

Join Captain Robert Walton and his crew as they become caught up in the story of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant scientist who creates a living being out of dead flesh.
But when the creature is rejected by its creator and the world, it sets out on a path of revenge that will bring death and destruction to all who cross it.
This radio play is full of suspense, horror, and thought-provoking themes. It is a must-see for fans of classic literature and vintage radio drama.
