Looking for land with shop/barn to rent

Submitted By: msgreenhoot@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hi All.
We are a couple in our mid 40’s looking to rent some land with a shop or barn.
Must be able to park and live in our trailer.
Will need power in the shop/barn for woodworking/power tools.
6-12 month lease is ideal.
We are native Oregonians and have family and friends here at the coast who will be our personal references.
We’ll be looking forward to your reply.

Meet The Cast of Riverbend Players Production of 12 ANGRY JURORS: Juli Stratton

Submitted By: frank@wandascafe.com – Click to email about this post
Juli’s Riverbend Players’ acting debut came in 2022’s ARSENIC & OLD LACE.

More recently she was a Foley Artist (sound effects) for IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE and played the part of Stanley in this spring’s BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS.

Juli is passionate about community volunteering and being a big part of Riverbend Players.

Juli and her wife live in Manzanita with their 3 fur kids.

Based on the award-winning movie 12 Angry Men:

On a hot summer day after a lengthy trial, a jury must decide whether a 19-year-old man is guilty of murdering his father.

The jury votes 11-1 that the man is guilty of the crime, but the law requires a unanimous vote by all 12 jurors to pass judgment.

Tempers flare as the eleven jurors try to convince the 1 dissenter to come to their side.

As the evidence is re-examined, however, new uncertainties come to light, forcing everyone to truly question whether there is some measure of “reasonable doubt”.

Twelve Angry Jurors is a courtroom thriller that puts you on the edge of your seat while powerfully exploring what it means to live in a democracy.

Directed by Frank Squillo.

I have one extra ticket in Section A to the Cappella Romana performance of “A Ukrainian Wedding” this Sunday 5/21 at 3 pm at Christ the King Parish in Milwakie.

The women of Cappella Romana, conducted by Nadia Tarnawsky, will be joined by Ukrainian singers in village folk songs, sacred chants and choral works for a Ukrainian wedding. Tarnawsky, an ethnomusicologist, folklorist and singer, collected many of these songs in field work in Ukraine before the war.

The ticket is $56. Here’s the deal. If you drive us both into the concert the ticket is free.

Installer For New Gas Range

Submitted By: artlight7@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
We have purchased a new gas range from Home Depot. Installation can occur when we’ve located a professional who is able to use the adaptor kit that comes with the range to install it to work with our already-present propane gas lines.

Do you know someone who can install this Whirlpool gas range for us?

Two glass eggs made with St. Helens volcanic ash. The blue egg has a perfect bubble in the middle and is marked GES 07. The clear egg has iridescent swirls and is marked GES 06. The eggs were purchased at Jacobson Jewelry in Astoria about 15 years ago. The eggs are exquisite sitting in sunlight and need to be seen to be appreciated. Price: $30 per egg. FREE steel bathtub

Submitted By: Kirby.voos@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
We just removed this steel bathtub from our house and will be bringing it to the dump this weekend if it doesn’t find a new home. It has a couple small enamel chips from demo work being done around it before it could be removed but it would still function as a usable tub, or an outdoor cold plunge tub, or garden art/planter.. Located in Wheeler. Contact Kirby ( kirby.voos@gmail.com )

ERIN for NCRD

Submitted By: elaskey86@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Well BBQ land, tomorrow is the big day! I want to thank everyone who has reached out to say “I voted for you!” This has been quite the humbling experience and I hope to start a new chapter of service for our community come July.

The NCRD has seen record breaking growth in participation and attendance in the past couple of years. It’s clear this community loves the NCRD just as much as I do and it’s exciting to see such progress! I want to continue to build on that progress and continue to grow the NCRD!

So if you haven’t voted yet, please vote for me Erin Laskey-Wilson.
