The Cannon Beach Arts Association has a handful of spots left for “Project Off the Grid (ages 8-12)” with Anna Kaufman & Denise Monaghan

Morning 10 – 12pm and Afternoon 1 – 3pm Sessions.

This collaborative puzzle class, will explore the theme of local ecology, focusing on land, seascapes, native flora and fauna.

The main project for this class is to create an acrylic painting using a reference photo that has been sectioned into a grid. The artists will be tasked with completing a panel over the course of the week. The final showcase will connect each student’s personal investigation to reveal a larger painting. Photos of the collaborative painting will be taken as a memento for each student, before taking their individual piece home.

Students will learn to use viewfinders, experience outdoor exploration and sketching, as well as many surprise treats and activities throughout the week.

Local Arborist on Wildfire Safety

Submitted By: jeffgerhardt@treescapesnorthwest.com – Click to email about this post
I am not a Firefighter or a Climate Specialist, but we are dry and the 4th is fast approaching. Here are some common sense tips to help reduce wildfire fuels:
1) Haul off piles of dead sticks/leaves. Don’t wait until the air is smoky and ash is falling, take it to the transfer station, it’s free!
2) Remove all dead trees and bushes.
3) Prune dead limbs from trees.
4) Be proactive. If you see a vacant lot with an accumulation of wildfire fuels contact the City.
5) Water. Keep trees and vegetation healthy.
6) Check to see that you are insured against wildfire?!?

FREE: 44″ diameter game table with 4 chairs on casters. There is standard wear and tear, bottom rung chewed by puppy many years ago, and fraying of the upholstery on 2 chairs at top, but I guarantee it’s still the most comfortable place to sit for a meal or conversation that you’ve ever enjoyed. Has a 12″ extension.
Must be gone by 6/29.

I’m in Rockaway on N 6th. Please email at leekeekanoo@charter.net or text at 503-977-2318 for more photos.

Financial Wellness Class for Women and Abundance Retreat

Submitted By: lizcarroll831@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
73% of Americans say money is their number one source of stress. I teach women how to get healthy with money by using the Mindful Money Method, a new way to think about money and your ability to earn & manage it. The Mindful Money Method is a holistic approach to math + mindset + soul-driven desires.

Women learn how to:
✨ Create a debt payoff strategy you love and will follow. Living debt-free, fully in the present with your money feels amazing.

✨ Determine what safe feels like for you and build your safety net allowing you to take risks and catches you when in an emergency situation or the economy changes.

✨ Establish your personal financial independence number where you are free to make work optional. Many students set this number as their financial journey destination.

✨ Improve your relationship with money and others (partners, parents, children, friends & employers) by establishing clear financial goals and boundaries. You’ll feel more love, less worry.

✨ Uncover and rewrite your money story. When you shift your money experience from unconscious to intentional your whole experience of money becomes richer.

✨ Build legacy wealth. Wealth that outlives you and does good for others.

Students of the Mindful Money Method set themselves up by improving their relationship with money and themselves!

Ready for a financial awakening?

The 9-week LIVE group class is taught by Liz Carroll, certified Financial Life Coach, via Zoom on Wednesdays from July 5 – August 30th at either 2 PM or 5 PM PT. The course is $457; however, Tillamook county residents can use coupon code LOCALS for a 40% discount making the life changing class $275 ($30/session).

I’ll be hosting a six-hour Abundance Retreat (coaching workshop, yoga, lunch and ritual) for Mindful Money Method students on Sunday, August 20th from 10 AM to 4 PM at NCRD. The retreat is $97.

Align with doTERRA plant power for healthy home and personal care. Tue. 6/27 6pm Nehalem

Submitted By: wingsforwisdom@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Are you ready to support your natural body and home with plant powered oils direct from nature?

Join us for an outdoor evening gathering to enjoy community and experience doTERRA’s pure plant powered products first hand. I’ve been using doTERRA for about 5 years. I love them. Come learn why!
I’m a Health Coach, bodyworker and birth worker with over 25 years of experience in wellness care after an early career in the (quite synthetic) fragrance and flavor industry which gave me insight into what goes into mainstream so-called cleaners and personal care items, even our foods.

I’d love to get to know you and understand your wellness needs and health priorities. I can help you choose products that would support your bioindivideal needs best and bring more healthy habits into daily play in your life.
If you already know about or use doTERRA and want to learn more, this is a great way to experience their products, ask your questions directly and get to know your neighbors. Community connections are part of the wheel of wellness in our lives.

This evening’s gathering will spotlight doTERRA’s Abode and OnGuard cleaners as well as some personal care cleansers like their shampoo and conditioning bars as well as other hair and body care and a smattering of other products including my travel essentials and summer sun care.

Light refreshments. Plus a free gift just for attending! Enrollment gift opportunity for new members too! It’s like joining Costco, doTERRA is a wholesale buyers club. Becoming a member gives you access to wholesale prices. No minimum monthly order unless you opt into a rewards program. It really is simple and good in my experience.

Event is at my private residence. Please respond to my listed Email and state your interest, name and town you live in for invite. Thanks!
