Attend Coastal Craft Uprising for Free on August 17th!
Urban Craft has been producing craft markets since 2005. We have a large following in the Pacific Northwest–primarily in Seattle and Portland–and we are eager to be expanding our horizons this year and bringing new shows both to Bend an to the Oregon Coast! We are so excited to showcase the local talent of coastal artisans, and to introduce you to some of our favorite vendors from all around the Pacific Northwest. The Coastal Craft Uprising will be free to attend, and a great way to support small businesses while finding unique gifts for wedding presents, housewarming gifts, birthdays, decor for your home, treats for others, and fun goodies for yourself!
We are also excited to be joining forces with Michelle Valigura from Basalt in Cannon Beach. Michelle is an artist, sculptor, ceramicist, well seasoned shop owner and now restaurant owner–an all-around mover and shaker!

Tide Pool Discovery Days
What amazing creatures are lurking at the water’s edge? Come out to Oceanside and see!
Friends of Netarts Bay WEBS staff and volunteers will be onsite in the tidepools to share about the habitats along the coastal edge. Learn about the anemone clone wars, how a sea star eats, or how hermit crabs steal shell homes from other crabs! From seaweeds to sculpin fish, there is an amazing world to discover. Come out and enjoy!
The theme for July 7th will focus on SEAWEED and is a compliment to our Seaweed Pressing Workshop. Learn more about this workshop at the link below.
Details: Wear boots or bring a change of shoes. DO NOT WEAR Flip flops (they are never ideal for exploring tide pools). Be prepared for Oregon coast weather.
We understand everyone learns and experiences the outdoors differently and we are open to working with anyone that needs additional support. We have limited capacity. Please contact us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate your needs and/or find a way for you or your group to have fun participating in our events.
