Plant Nursery Tables needed. The Hoffman Center’s Wonder Garden will have our annual Fall Plant Sale fundraiser in September. In order to raise and nurture plants for you, we need a few, good outdoor nursery tables. Anyone have some taking up space? Or materials that we might use to construct? Ideally, for our (older) volunteers (most of us), height needs to be 32-36 inches–with some kind of mesh that allows water and soil to fall through…thanks for your thoughts and ideas. Need Contact Info for Removal of Boulders and Soil for Water Line

Looking for recommendations for a reasonable quote on removing some large rocks/boulders and dig a deep hole about 10 feet long from water main to house to replace water pipe. Also interested in landscapers that have a back round in this sort of things because I also need two water gutter underground pipes add an additional right angle to divert waterflow away from boulders holding up the steep soil.

Volunteers Needed-Neighborhood Watch in North County

Getting a BBQ/Potluck together for a Neighborhood Watch in North County, or maybe just Wheeler, depending on the interest.
We need Volunteers and Donations. Let’s get our area on the map when it comes to watching out for our Community and Each Other.
Crime is up and Arrests are down with no housing available for Criminals.
Let’s get together and start something that will not only bring our people closer, but something that will keep the crime down as well.
July 17th at 3PM we have Sheriff Josh Brown coming to visit Wheeler (uncertain on the place as of yet).
So this is a get together, where we can discuss things like Safety, Cameras, Community Concerns, Needs, Wants and anything else that should be on the Agenda.
With a group like this we can report suspicious activity, document and follow up on issues. These are just some ideas.
I have looked into a group nicknamed COP. They seem to have a great program going on. Check out their website…about 1/2 way down the page is the information for their city www.ontariooregon.org/joinopd.html

Change can only happen when we as a Community get involved. I know this can be done in a Civil Manner, there is a way!

We are searching for someone to help us out at the manzanita farmer market. The market is going to run from May 27th to Oct 7th this year, while we are excited for the longer season, we are going to need some help to keep it efficient and fun!

Here’s the re-cap:
I am needing to replace the BALI blind arrangement in this window. Ideally it would be EXACTLY the same (103 inch headrail – “two-on-one” design – the individual shades are 61-1/2 tall and 50-1/2 wide – color is an off-white now as they have been up about three years) – but it would be OK to have the same length headrail with just ONE long shade.
I have turned over every reasonable stone to buy a brand-new arrangement – but in the event someone knows where there is a used one – OR – a terrific outlet for dated shades like this (it still has to be Bali)
I would like to know – the sooner the better…THANKS! jw

5 yrs Pekenee-pekigese needs a forever home

I’ve just spent one hour trying to post here a video of the little dog …but I am not tech enough .
So again …a family is moving to another state and not taking their furry companion with them .
You can do a search on Pekinees -or Pekingese-
They are lively, very smart, and their coats need care. Like with any small dogs , they must not be treated as toys for children . Their bones break , they hurt too…I would take her but have 3 dogs already )
I am passing on this need of a CARING forever home. I will send the video to each person who request it….

She’s my neighbor/tenants doggie (as you can see a lover of all)
Molly has a little boy that’s in Kindergarten
Molly caught some weird disease and can no longer use her back legs
This little family cannot afford back wheels(legs) for their sweet little pup.

Car Needed

Hi,

My car got stolen from the Hilton Garden Inn parking lot near the airport in Portland. I am returning to the coast carless. I was on a trip helping my Mom out. She has been in the hospital.

So I currently don’t have a car, a way to get to work or get Ronan to school. I am in the process of getting another one.

If you have a car that I could borrow in the mean time, that would be so helpful. Please let me know. I am responsible, have insurance, and can provide references.
