Your Extra Clothes!

Do you have some extra clothes? We had nearly 160 visits to the Clothing Bank at North County Food Bank in Wheeler during June. The Clothing Bank especially needs men’s casual and outside work clothing and sturdy shoes and work boots. We can also use women’s and children’s clothing as well as children’s books and toys.

You can drop off clothing on Tuesdays between 12 and 3 p.m. at the Food Bank: 278 Rowe St. in Wheeler (across from the Nehalem Bay/Rinehart Clinic). If you have a large donation or the time doesn’t work for you, please contact us through our website or send us an email at northtillamookcountyfoodbank@gmail.com and we will arrange a pick up.

Clothes are a resource! Let’s keep them circulating in our community.

Help in cutting a strip of plexiglass

Do you have a table saw and experience cutting plexiglass? I need just one 6×48 inch cut, out of a 48 x 24 sheet of .063 plexiglass. I’d be happy to give you the remaining sheet if you could use it.

(Creating a protective barrier to keep my kitty from getting to a delicate model ship on the top of a dresser)

Need professional mover for a large appliance!!

We have a commercial freezer that needs to be moved from Wheeler to Nehalem area. It is extremely bulky and heavy and almost needs a lift to get it into a truck. Looking for a swivel rocker for a woman ,most I have found are large and for a men I want to be able to touch the floor with my feet and my back touched the back of the chair at the same time if anyone has one out there that they are ready to get rid of. Housing swap: your coastal place for hot PDX apt

Hello! I am on the North Coast looking to relocate from Slabtown PDX (walk score 97) beginning in July or August. I’m open to short or long term, from a week or two at a time to long term.

My place in PDX is super clean, upstairs on a very quiet residential street near Wallace Park. About 800 sq foot, 1 BR with classic 1940s touches. Super clean and ready for someone to occupy. Cats or a very mellow dog would be OK.

Active veggie gardening on front porch with private downstairs entrance. Apt is like a birds nest up in the trees, with 17 windows and total privacy. Active, super fast internet. Great place to be quiet and chill, 15 walk to Macleay Park and Forest Park. It’s a delight!

Place newly redone for flow – very feng shui. Outfitted kitchen. If you have a place in/near Manzanita, Nehalem, Netarts, Oceanside up through Cannon Beach, and might be interested, let’s chat and share pics!

We’re residents in Rockaway Beach and looking for a small home (500 to 800 square feet, preferably without stairs) to purchase that is off market. Our current home and yard are too much to maintain, but we know how hard it is to find a place here, so we’d like to secure a new home first. We are looking for something under $250,000.

Hi, to those who read this
I’m looking for my mom for a place that she can rent in the north coast area.
She’s 60 years old. Tidy, helpful and quiet.
Currently, she’s staying on my couch and I can’t house her for much longer; my place is not meant for two.

We are in dire need. She doesn’t need much room and doesn’t have many possessions after her recent ordeal.

BICYCLES TO BORROW

We have family visiting from July 10 to 17.
We’d love to borrow some bicycles – and helmets.
We have a few bikes of our own and two kids bikes we got for free from BBQ – and they’ll return to the community after our kids leave.
If you can loan us a bike or two for a few days we’d appreciate it.
