Housing needed for the honey guy in 2025!

In spring of this coming year (2025) I will be losing my housing arrangement as the owner is retiring from his Federal Government job which obviously dispatches me to my next adventure. Ideally I will find something agreeable here on the coast – and I will entertain ideas either in Oregon or Washington. June 30th is my absolute “go” date – and can make the transition in April or May if the right fit presents itself. It doesn’t make sense in my budget to pay over $1500 for housing – unless there is square footage sufficient to allow extra storage.

Hey there,
Have made the move out to the coast and have been wanting to learn to surf my entire life.. this seems to be the perfect opportunity to do so. Obviously, gear is super expensive, and funds are a little limited so I was hoping to see if someone has on old board or secondary board they would be willing to part with. Ideally looking for an 8ft Torq, but am open to whatever is available. Also, for the suit, I am 6’2 about 165 lean build if you have something close!

Spanish Afterschool Childcare

We are interested in creating a small afterschool (approx from 3-5pm) Spanish/English childcare group 2-3 days/week and maybe some weekends if possible. There is possibility to have it hosted at our house in Cannon Beach or a public community space in Cannon Beach or Seaside.

My long time gardening partner Nancy is looking for a home in the country. She has excellent long term rental history in Seaside, but has to move. She would like a quiet, private location. Plant Starts For School Gardens

Hello Community,

I am writing to see if you have any plant starts you would like to donate to the Food Roots Food Equity program, to grow in our school gardens. Currently we have school gardens at East Elementary in Tillamook, and Tillamook Junior High, and Garibaldi Grade School. The food we are growing in the gardens gets harvested and donated to the schools food pantries and local pantries. We are looking for things like; Chives, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, lettuces and cabbage.

Share your vases with Friends of North County Recreation District

Friends of North County Recreation District (NCRD) need vases. We’ve got another month of flower sales to go, and we are almost out of vases! We use a lot of quart size and pint size vases. We want to have them cleaned, but cleanable vases are ok too. Speaking of vases and flowers, have you been to the Little Apple in Manzanita and seen our beautiful flower arrangements? You can get a beautiful bouquet for $5 or $10-best deal in town. We are now picking from four different gardens and the bouquets are stunning. You could be a part of this activity of arranging flowers. We have openings for arrangers in September. If you have an hour to donate to Friends of NCRD Mission, we would love to have you join us. We start arranging at 9AM. For more details on this call Patty-503-368-6081. You will also meet some great people! Friends of NCRD raise money to support programs and projects at NCRD. Half the money we raise goes to the Youth Program. Spread some joy in your life by giving someone a flower bouquet. Thanks for reading.

Refridgerator needed at Alder Creek Farm

Our very old and very tierd fridge has given up. We are in need of a good working fridge for our garden program. We are smack dab in peak harvest right now, we depend on 2 refridgerators, in order to continue to provide fresh food to our food scarcity partners in this community. Looking for someone to haul away old metal for recycling

Hi BBQ land

I’m in search of someone with a larger trailer who can haul off some odd shaped large metal parts that have been hanging out in the back of my barn for a while. Steel top support posts from and old hoop house and an old metal truck canopy are the biggest pieces. There’s also some metal posts sunk in concrete footings that need to go too- they are smaller in size but heavy.

If you have a trailer and can help me out let me know!

Hello! I’m looking for a working fridge. Anyone have one that needs a new home? Free would be lovely but fairly inexpensive would work. I also have cards, earrings, journals, magnets and all kinds of other little things to trade (or maybe partial trade?).
