Electrician Recommendations for standby generator repair

Help needed with repair of whole-house standby generator (Kohler 48RCL, 48KW).
Looking for an electrician with some experience with this unit or other similar high-power generators.
Power Systems West (Kohler dealer) wants too much just to come out from Portland and troubleshoot the unit.

My friend and co-worker has to move by12/16 at the latest or she will be homeless. Apartment or house Astoria to Tillamook but the closer to Cannon Beach the better as she works there. She is a single woman in her seventies with one cat. Any options appreciated. Thanks!!

hi to all the the BBQ community,

alas, my old car is dead at the auto mechanic.

i had a loan of a lovely car (SO great to have wheels!) for 5 days, until the owner returned from her trip.

is there anyone out there in BBQ land who might loan me a car until i find the right one to buy? or for whatever length of time it might be available?

please, no stick shifts. it’s been decades since i’ve driven one and i live on a steep hill.

i’m a safe driver–no tickets for decades.

Dermatologist recommendation

Hello BBQ folks:
It’s time for me to have a check over from a dermatologist and I’m looking for a recommendation. There a two local clinics, Clear Choice in Warrenton and Silver Falls (now Frontier) in Astoria. I’ve heard some mixed reviews on those, but maybe you really like one of them.
Or, I could go to Portland, in which case I’d like to stay on the west side. Any positive experiences with a dermatologist at St Vincent’s?

Odor/Pest Control Needed

We infrequently have a bad odor in a bathroom that is not explained by normal events, more like something has died. It lasts for a week or so and then fades away, only to recur a few months later. I have looked in the crawl space, under the vanity cabinet base and in the heating ducts and cannot identify any source for this smell. hi all in the LOCAL BBQ community,
my car suddenly gave up the ghost, needs a new transmission, and an indefinite date from Evergreen Auto when it can be fixed.

i have an offer of a car in 5-7 days.

does anyone have an “extra” car they could loan me for a short time?

no stick shift please! it’s been 30 years since i’ve driven a stick shift, and i live on a steep hill.

Open Mike Astoria October 1 Driver Home

The first Tuesday of every month there is an open mike at Rics Winecraft in Astoria. I can drive there, but it is hard for me to return after dark.
I will provide the car, and pay the gas, and drive one way. You will stay sober, read your work if you like (or listen to mostly great work in any case) and drive back. I can make it from your house back to mine.
