Thinking of dumping Comcast? Or moving away from our beautiful, one-option internet service area to the land of the free?
You’re in luck!
I canceled my Spectrum monopoly to go with Mint Mobile (so far, so good-for the data-curious) and asked Spectrum to send me boxes to return the equipment in.
They sent five.
Even the FedEx lady was mystified by my numerous, yet airy-light delivery.
So-I have 4 (four) empty boxes with return labels that I have great hope that someone in the community can use for a similar break-the-chain purpose. If Comcast told you that you can just ‘drop the equipment at a UPS store, no box necessary’ You were misled.

Free dark brown pinstripe couch. Previously had a pull out bed, but now just has a folded up mattress underneath. Decent looking. No stains. Not sagging. SUNDAYS in November, 11am-5pm at wolfmoon bakery in downtown nehalem, 35915 8th St.

During this time of food insecurity, we would like to offer what we can to help ease the pain. Regardless of your situation, if you could use some assistance, please don’t hesitate to come by and grab a loaf or two for yourself, family, or anyone you know that my be in need. We will place the rack out at 11am on the front porch and it will be available until 5pm or we run out. Anything left will be donated to the Nehalem Bay Food Pantry for pickup during the week.

Fresh baked, fully organic whole wheat sourdough. Ingredients: Organic wheat flour, water, sourdough culture, salt.

Colocaremos el pan en el porche a las 11:00 y estará disponible hasta las 17:00 o hasta que se agote. El pan restante se donará al Banco de Alimentos de Nehalem Bay para que lo recojan durante la semana.

Pan de masa madre integral, orgánico y recién horneado. Ingredientes: Harina de trigo orgánica, agua, masa madre, sal.

Two Sweet Kitten Brothers Seeking Their Forever Home

We rescued two beautiful little brothers a few days ago who are now ready for adoption. They’re still young (age unknown), not yet neutered, and a mix of snuggly, and independent. The perfect combination of curious explorers and gentle companions. They’re comfortable both indoors and outdoors, litter-trained, and have been bathed, well-fed, and loved. We’re looking for a warm, safe home – ideally together – where they can keep growing into their sweet, confident selves.

We can’t keep them because our senior dog is afraid of cats. It’s bittersweet, because these boys are so lovable and bring such light.

If you feel drawn to welcome two affectionate little souls into your life, please reach out. We’d love to find them a home where they’ll be cherished and free to roam safely.
