ARTHUR A. SELANDER (American, 1884-1978), charcoal & pencil drawing, “The Thoroughfare”, road through rustic housing, signed lower left, 9″ x 12″, circa 1940, reverse bears authentication label.

Titled “The Thoroughfare”

(Arthur Selander set an exceptionally high value on what he knew was an exceptional drawing. The $120 original price listed on the back of the drawing in 1940 is equivalent to approximately $2,777 in 2025 dollars)

“Selander, Arthur A. (1884-1978) Painter, oil, watercolor, landscapes of Washington and Oregon scenery, drawing, pencil, charcoal. Born in Marshfield, Oregon in 1884. At one time he worked as a cartoonist for the Oregonian. Member: Oregon Society of Artists, president for three terms. League of Oregon Artists, honorary membership; The society of Western Artists, San Francisco, California; The League of Professional Artists, New York. Prolific artist, painted with Clyde Leon Keller from the 1920’s.”

Vase from Tangier. Medium Gauge Copper with Brass Vase, weight is >2 lbs.
Every area of this vase is hand tooled. Handles are of solid rectangular copper.

Kimberly Morris is an Oregon artist who lives in Wallowa, weaves beautiful one-of-a-kind rugs from hand-died New Zealand wool. It takes approximately 3 weeks to weave each unique rug, We bought this rug some years ago from Kim at Art in the Pearl in Portland.

She has been featured on Oregon Art Beat, and here is a link to that interview; please consider watching it, and I will be glad to send further details and photos after you do.

Unique metal & glass storage unit

I’ve had 4 people respond in two previous posts but not a single one showed up. So I’ll try again.

This is a very cool work surface storage caddy. Tho I bet it could be hung from the wall if you had a mind to.
For the garden shed, for the kitchen, for the work bench in your shop, for your office or school supplies if you’re a teacher.
I’ve had it for a good 10 years myself. It was mostly used in my past larger art studio but I did employ it as a seed storage unit in my garden shed for a season or two.
The glass doors are hinged and open UP wards.
It about 2 feet wide, 20 inches tall, 7.5 inches deep. I paid over a hundred for it in a camas,wa antique shop. I just can’t find a functional space for it in my current downsized studio.
Make me an offer and I’ll use the money to pay my handyman to help with some interior trim or go to builders and buy the darn trim.
All reasonable offers considered.

Awesome sitting/standing desk with solid butcher block top (1.5”) and sturdy metal legs. Easily adjust from sitting to standing with the push of a button with no wobbles – I had two monitors, laptop, desk accessories and could smoothly adjust mid meeting. The panel includes 4 presets for your preferred adjustments. 8+ plugins on the underside panel. This has served me well, but as I come back from leave I am switching my desk setup and this no longer fits in my home. Retails for around $2,000, asking $450 OBO
