Kudos to bigbeach
The comprehensive response by ‘bigbeach’ and the links that were provided are all worth everyone’s attention.

A point was made that red team/blue team has little to do with policy and it’s true. That artificial divide is designed to train our focus on a political circus every two to four years, like sheep in a chute. Americans need to look over the walls of that chute to know who they should choose to lead, and for that, some historical perspective is sorely needed.
David Talbot’s, The Devils Chessboard, elucidates machinations which formed the pre WWII deep state, and overlaps Whitney Webb’s two part, exhaustive work, One Nation Under Blackmail. It cannot be stated too often that our whole world is progressing at warp speed in every area of research and by any metric we use to compare, even twenty years ago. Under the curve applies better than behind it since the graphs all seem to be going vertical.

That long list of threats and concerns this nation and all the other people on this shrinking planet share can seem overwhelming, until you remove war. Food, shelter, healing, artistic and spiritual expression; power, transportation, communication, in sync with natural law; tell me this garden planet cannot provide all of that if the raging bulls are driven out. They trample, tear up and disrupt everything.

America needs to rise to it’s potential and boldly step away from conflict, towards cooperation. The vast majority of the world would bow their heads in prayer and gratitude. That’s how much influence we wield. The American people must ask themselves if the Russians, the Chinese, the Koreans, the Iranians, Indians, Africans, Mexicans, Cubans, Venezuelans, the South Americans; are these and others, all our adversaries, our enemies? Find a globe, especially one without boundaries, (rare), and contemplate it for as long as it takes to really see the totality of its interconnectedness. What are the paths forward for humanity? Really only two; trust and cooperation, or denial and decent into the unthinkable.

This interview with Eric Weinstein, one of the leading visionary figures in today’s physics offers some different ways to see the pickle we humans have gotten ourselves into.

Oregon Governor Tina Kotek has called the Legislature back into a Special Session this August 29th.
The goal is to pass a gas tax increase and wage tax increase.
When it comes to a Special Session, there will not be much of a public debate nor public hearing, just a ram rod job.
Governor Kotek’s announcement warns that this is just the FIRST STEP, “This is just the first step of many that must be taken to meet our state’s long-term transportation needs.”
That means there are more taxes, fees and budget gimmicks to come after these two taxes are passed.

Public Enemy #1

That was quite a list of achievements by our current potus. (sarcasm)

One of today’s headlines: Trump floats eliminating capital gains tax on home sales.

It took me a few minutes to realize the implications (what can I say, I’m slow). This would only benefit the wealthy (of course), and it probably would supercharge the housing market at a time when many of us already cannot afford to buy or even rent. It could send inflation numbers through the roof, so I think it’s unlikely to happen. Yet we all know that “unlikely” ain’t what it used to be.

But I don’t want to focus on Trump. That’s what he wants and what fuels him. I want to see Congress change hands in 2026. Polls show Republicans are handing Democrats the opportunity and we shouldn’t pass it up. Immigration “reform” has disgusted or disappointed most voters. Gaza is far worse. Cost of living is going up faster it seems. And the Epstein scandal is not going away. There’s clearly something there they desperately want to hide.

It’s a good time to support good candidates around the country.

Public Enemy #1: response

Submitted By: bigbeach@gmx.com – Click to email about this post
Personally, I believe this entire cabal of Trumpian Biden-esque billionaire tech/banker pharma/fraudsters are public enemy #1, not just Drumf.

I enjoyed listing to then Portland-based Tom Hartman back when Dubya was bombing Iraq for Israel. (Even a broken clock is right twice a day.)

But now I do not find Tom Hartman a useful source for factual info as he is all Team Blue and makes himself blind to Dem failures, and as such, in my view, he is a purveyor of misinformation. And that is a problem that I see with Dems in general: that Team Blue does no wrong -ever. It’s often cult-like and scary in my view.

Most of MAGA, however, as we see playing out in real-time, is more than willing to point out the failures of Team Red and make much noise about it. As such, my hope for America (the little to be found) lies with the anti-Israel anti-war anti-Drumf MAGA crowd that has emerged post Iran-bombing, post Gaza-genocide, post Epstein cover-up.

I believe Drumf is an anti-American tyrant; just as bad if not worse were the ‘covid’ tyrants in my view, and most were Dems, although Drumf declared himself the ‘Father of the vaccine’’.

Tom wrote:

“Trump also regularly lashed out at Democratic governors like Gretchen Whitmer and Andrew Cuomo while ignoring their pleas for ventilators and PPE. As the death toll mounted, Trump publicly minimized the virus, holding rallies and rejecting masks, while privately admitting to journalist Bob Woodward that Covid was “deadly stuff.”

First of all, mask’s do not stop covid, Tom. I think we all know that now that everyone has had ‘covid’ despite the widespread use of masks. I am actually shocked that Tom tried to use this old and tired scare tactic.

Second, Woodward is a deep state CIA-asset and a fraud, not the bad-ass independent journalist played by Robert Redford in ‘All The President’s Men’. Remember that Deep Throat was in reality the Deputy Director of the FBI.

Third, Cuomo got his ventilators AND never used them. He also got that BIG Navy medical ship to anchor in NY harbor and never used it, save a few dozen for show.

You see, the ventilators didn’t work because the virus was engineered to corrupt the oxygen receptors. No amount of ventilating will work when one’s body can’t uptake the oxygen. Nice guys Bill Gates and Fauci and company.

Like the ‘covid’ tyrants in Oregon, Whitmer DEMONIZED everyday folks who were trying to stay healthy by going OUTSIDE AND GETTING FRESH AIR. She restricted boats to 2 people, because Whitmer’s ’science’ (‘fascism’ really) said if there was more than two people on a boat they will all get ‘covid’!

(Contrast this with a woman I just met who spent the ‘pandemic’ in Oklahoma, except she said it was as if there was NO pandemic in Oklahoma as their leaders did NOT bow down to Fauci and Gates. Maybe Oklahoma is OK after all!)

Do you know where the 6-feet apart thing came from? A high school science project during the reign of Bush the First.

Here in Tillamook County the TCSO and our own Nehalem Bay Fire Dept played the role of fascist, closing our boat launches WHEN WE NEEDED TO BE OUTSIDE THE MOST!!!! I was glared at from ashore by a NBFD fireman because I was in the water in my kayak. I simply walked my kayak in from the shore, and this fireman did not like that one bit! (Stay home and inside! No fresh air for you!!! Get vaccinated!!! Obey your masters!!!)

OUR HIKING TRAILS WERE CLOSED WHEN WE NEEDED FRESH AIR THE MOST. OUR BEACHES WERE CLOSED!!!!! WHAT!?????? OUR CHILDREN WERE MASKED AT SCHOOL FOR MONTHS BCAUSE ELDERLY TEACHERS WERE SCARED!!!!

AND EVERYONE STILL GOT COVID!!!!

AND THE KIDS GOT A GOOD CASE OF DEPRESSION AND EXISTENTIAL ANGST RIGHT ALONG WITH IT

OUR STATE PARKS WERE CLOSED!!!!! (I snuck into Nehalem Bay SP every day, and encourage everyone to do the same in the future. Do not obey tyrants, wether they are Feds or the TCSO!)

Whitmer and Cuomo pushed shots on the populace THAT THEY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT, save what corrupt Fauci told them. They ‘trusted the science’. AND THEN EVEONE GOT COVID! Cuomo’s CNN brother was famous for shaming his audience into shooting Pfizer’s junk, saying that the ONLY way to avoid getting ‘covid’ (lab-engineered SARS) was by shooting the junk. Then he famously GOT COVID, like all of the others making money off the scam. I think it was 20-million dollars out of CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s 50-million dollar show that came from PFIZER. No ‘covid’ truth on that show.

Here is a short collection of ‘covid’ videos from folks that lied like, Whitmer and Cuomo. And they are both in this video.

Here is some comedy from Woody Harrelson about this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3Enm23K0mM

More comedy, kind of serious though:

rumble.com/v1bonsj-jim-breuer-stand-up-comedy-covid-vax-regret-6343.html?e9s=src_v1_s%2Csrc_v1_s_o

If Tom was to admit that the above happened, I might listen to him about other stuff. But until then…

Tom also wrote:

“Most infamously, on January 6th, 2021, he incited an insurrection designed to halt the peaceful transition of power in a stunning betrayal without precedent in American history. He encouraged extremist and white supremacist groups like the Proud Boys, Three Percenters, and Oath Keepers, effectively endorsing domestic terrorism.”

In my view, January 6th was a riot staged by Democrats and the FBI in an attempt to frame Drumf and disqualify him from running for president again. Nancy Pelosi has said as much. And the FBI has admitted that they had dozens of agents in the crowd that day. I say most were provocateurs.

(The downtown Portland BLM riots that summer were definitely domestic terrorism in my view.)

There are lots of videos of FBI provocateurs on J6. Also, Pelosi refused Drumf’s request for more capital police, and the few that were there opened the security gates for the ‘insurrectionists’, which was the Dems’ objective. Ray Epps is also a sympathetic character in Nancy Pelosi’s daughter’s documentary that she was mysteriously shooting that day:

rumble.com/vo8ekr-corrupt-pelosi-jan-6-commission-wheres-ray-epps-from-az-nancy-wheres-his-su.html?e9s=src_v1_s%2Csrc_v1_s_o

Also, Tom, J6 was not ‘unprecedented’ in American history, as the California state capitol was stormed by BLACKS WITH GUNS!!!!! Black Panthers baby!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ11yMBnZNk

I think Tom is very wrong on these two points, and with the threat of Gates’ pandemic #2, I think the former subject matter is still in need of critical, factual understanding by many.

In closing, here is some Public Enemy, the band:

I want to say the biggest THANK YOU to the first responders that helped me on Sunday after my fall through a step on stairs at my home! You were quick and kind and so efficient. Even though I was bleeding from a head wound you didn’t flinch and just got in there to stand me up, etc. Also a special thanks to “Mike the Cop” for coming right away to comfort us until medical could get here.

The good news is I was able to come home from ER same day. Nothing broken, but pretty bruised and no sitches! Resting still but so grateful for all of your help!

Upcoming Nehalem Bay Watershed Council Events

Submitted By: info@nehalemwatershed.org – Click to email about this post
Nehalem Basin Partnership (NBP) is inviting local landowners and community members to learn more about improving salmon health, water quality, and flood abatement in the Nehalem Watershed. In upcoming public meetings and tours, NBP will share streamside habitat restoration projects, updates, and opportunities relating to the Nehalem Landowner Engagement Initiative. The goal of these meetings and tours is to inform and engage landowners in conversations about restoration opportunities on their own properties that will improve critical habitat for Coho salmon, a keystone species in the Nehalem Watershed. Landowners with river or streamside properties are particularly encouraged to attend!

Public meetings will be held on Thursday, July 31st and Sunday, August 17th from 4-6pm in the Gallery Room at the North Coast Recreation District. NBP will be featuring the Nehalem Bay Watershed Council’s documentary about in-stream wood placements on West Fork Coal Creek and a slide show of current and past streamside restoration projects. Representatives from local Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD), the Backyard Planting Program (BYPP), the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Ash Creek Forest Management will also be in attendance. Landowners who are interested in improving salmon habitat, water quality, and flood abatement on their own properties will be contacted to schedule a site visit to assess restoration goals and opportunities.

A site tour will be hosted by the Nehalem River Ranch (NRR) on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, starting at 12:00 pm and lasting 1-2 hours. The Nehalem River Ranch is a ‘multi-species, pasture-based farm’ that raises grass-fed beef and pastured pork and partners with local farmers who raise chickens, grow cut flowers and produce other farm products. In 2020, NRR partnered with the Nehalem Bay Watershed Council to plant trees and shrubs along a mile of the Nehalem river and 4 acres of silvopasture. With support from Tillamook SWCD and the BYPP at Tillamook Estuaries Partnership, NRR also installed pollinator hedge rows between pastures. Because this is a walking tour through an active farm, we ask attendees to please wear sturdy walking shoes or boots that can get dirty.

“I’m very excited to share this project with our community,” says Zac Mallon, Director of the Nehalem Bay Watershed Council. “[NRR] is a great example of how managing invasive knotweed on the banks of the Nehalem River isn’t a lost cause. The conifers planted in this project will push the knotweed out as the forest canopy develops. The trees are now reaching a size where grazing among the plantings for knotweed suppression is possible too!” Mallon also says that this project will benefit salmon by absorbing nutrients from the fields, shading the river, and managing erosion by developing strong, fibrous root systems in the riverbank as erosion promoting knotweed gets pushed out. For more information about Nehalem River Ranch, visit their website www.nehalemriverranch.com

NBP will also be hosting a site tour on August 8th, 2025 from 2-4pm at the Hoffman-Casler Property and West Fork Coal Creek. This tour will feature riparian revegetation, a culvert replacement, and an in-stream wood placement.

For more information about site tours, public meetings, and the Nehalem Landowner Engagement Initiative, please contact the Nehalem Bay Watershed Council at info@nehalemwatershed.org or visit NBP at www.nehalembasinpartnership.com/Nehalem-landowner-engagement-initiative. The Backyard Planting Program at Tillamook Estuaries Partnership can be found at www.tbnep.org/programs/habitat-restoration/backyard-planting-program/ .

This work is funded by the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund and the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board. We thank them for their support in the Nehalem Watershed.
