Sun Joe Silent Electric Wood Chipper + Shredder:
Good working condition

Description from HomeDepot website:
An eco-friendly solution to reusing yard waste. Its 15-amp electric motor easily reduces leaves, twigs, brush and branches into nutrient-rich mulch. The chipper has a reduction ratio of 21:1, is easy to assemble and practically maintenance-free. Its built-in safety stop automatically engages when the hopper is opened, so you’ll feel at ease shredding your lawn debris.

Free Tanks and Tank Rack

Submitted By: FernOneLLC@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Free – two aluminum heating oil or diesel fuel tanks. Heating oil has been removed. The tanks are leak free, each with a shut off valve as shown. Larger one is 130 gallons. Smaller one I estimate at 60 gallons. These were used for years for storage of my heating oil; heater since removed.

I also have the wooden tank rack that the tanks were mounted on to give them elevation to drain by gravity.

Please contact me to arrange for pick up. Uhaul.

Thank you,

Hoffman Gallery December Show

Submitted By: HoffmanArtsNews@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
HOFFMAN CENTER FOR THE ARTS GALLERY SHOW IN DECEMBER WILL FEATURE MIXED MEDIA PAINTINGS BY DENNIS WORREL, MELISSA YOUNG, AND A COASTAL TEAPOT SHOW.

Dennis Worrel is a painter and printmaker living on the northern Oregon Coast. He worked as a soil scientist for over 35 years studying forest and desert landscapes across the western U.S. He is a founding member of Arts Accelerated and a member of Print Arts Northwest. For this show, Worrel painted and drew over botanical dye prints created by fellow artist and partner, Christine Harrison. In this series, Worrel calls attention to the natural world around us, encouraging connection and exploring our spiritual force of nature.

Melissa Young’s mixed media work will also be on display. Young is drawn to figure and portrait sketching, particularly working with the female form, as well as art journaling. Featured in this show, titled Time Will Tell, is a series of mixed media portraits inspired by the artist’s maternal grandfather’s family photos and history.

Additionally, we will exhibit a variety of local artists in a Teapot Show. The show was born from a desire to feature the incredible talent of our coastal artists. All the teapots will be functional, and you can expect a wide range of styles, shapes, and a variety of techniques.

We invite you to view art December 2 through 23, Fridays through Sundays from 1-4 pm. The not-for-profit Hoffman Center for the Arts is located at 594 Laneda Avenue, Manzanita, Oregon.

Christmas ornaments & art lessons

Submitted By: Artwithmisskaren@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Art teacher new to the Arch Cape & Cannon Beach area.

I moved here from SW Washington state recently where I had a thriving art teaching & volunteer practice. Both children & adults. My specialty was small groups, family bonding & private art lessons. As well, in the classroom with 15 or more students.

I’m just getting my feet on the ground here and many of my art offerings (clay, fused glass, large scale paintings) are delayed till I get a studio up and running with my kiln.
But right now, today. I’m available for alcohol ink art and of course ready for the season with an offering of Resin tree ornaments.
The Christmas ornament sessions are available starting this Saturday Dec 10th – 16th.
Most sessions run about 1.5 hours. I can do private session rates or small group discounts for families.
Check out my Instagram & Facebook pages for just some of the art teaching that I have taught in the past few years.

On a different note. If your a teacher that needs help with specialized large scale school art projects. Individual classroom art projects or even custom school bulletin boards reach out & we can talk. Blessings in abundance, Miss Karen

Looking for Housing :)

Submitted By: andyevansparker@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hi there!
I’m Andy… and JONES the (elderly) cat. We’re looking for long-term housing on the North Coast.

I’m a successful organic landscape contractor currently in the Nehalem/Manzanita area. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to find new housing next year (2023). I’m ideally looking for a house of my own, but am open to an apartment and/or living with others, given a good fit and ample space. I have furnishings and am looking for something longer term (1-3 years ideally).
I have some things (surfboards, music gear, gardening tools, books) but have a storage unit as well for things that wouldn’t fit in. My cat ‘Jones’ is a sweet, older cat from Tillamook County who’s been with me for eight years now. We’re hoping to stay in the area if we find the right place. Infinite work and happiness here – but finding housing is challenging as we all know! I’m already engaged in a first-time home buyer program and am hoping to buy a house in the next few years. 1-3 Year lease preferred. Cat friendly yard is ideal but not necessary. Thank you so much for any opportunities or leads! 🙂
