Lots of talk of bird flu.

Next pandemic?

I bet you a trillion dollars if not ‘bird flu’ something else within a few years, them tech bros. just done made too much money!

But this time the ‘vax app’ (beta tested during ‘covid’) will come very much into play, as the ‘vax app’ is set to become the ‘everything app’: cbdc (digital ‘money’) access, carbon credits for travel, vax to go into food stores, vax for kids to go to school, etc.

White Clover Grange beautification project

Our local Girl Scout group is partnering with the White Clover Grange to earn a Community Service badge. We are busy pulling out all the grass and weeds and getting ready for to beautify the front entrance. We are putting down landscape fabric, new mulch (generously donated by Averill Farms), and planting flowers. Does anyone have something we could use to edge the beds? We need about 20′ on each side, so 40′ total. Bricks, pavers, cedar or plastic bender board, we’re open to ideas and donations if someone has something we can use. Hello BBQ Friends

I am looking for some tab, grommet or ring top curtain panels that are large enough to pull over a sliding glass door. The door is in a bedroom and requires something for privacy at night. Affordable or discard-free is more important than beautiful. Clean and odor free is a must. While opaque enough for privacy is essential blackout curtains are not my first choice because the person in the bedroom will probably struggle to wakeup in the morning if they are blackout curtains.

Still looking for a home for an antique dining table and 4 chairs as well as:

Teak shelving unit from the 60’s in perfect shape

Table 6 from Blue Sky Cafe days. This table was made by Steve Ruffo back in the 80’s and served us well at the cafe for 17 years. It’s also been used as a desk and a craft work station so has a few “memories” from that but it’s solid oak, heavy-duty and the top comes off for easy transporting.
