Looking for a place to RENT! (1 or 2 bedroom)

Submitted By: pmboyd88@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
Hi all, my name is Preston and I’m a photographer that is looking to move to the area as soon as possible. I absolutely love the feeling I have when I’m in Manzanita and the greater Nehalem Bay area.

I would prefer to live alone in a 1-2 bedroom place but am open to other options if I cannot find that. Would prefer to stay below the $2000/month mark and I wanted to express my interest on here. I am a quiet and respectful tenant who is looking to use it as a place to heal. If you have something, or know of someone who does, please email me and I’d love to chat about it or come take a look. I’m living just outside Seattle at the moment and can’t do the hustle bustle anymore.

Thanks in advance,
Preston

CHILD Tags

Submitted By: nbumcchild@gmail.com – Click to email about this post
The Christmas portion of the CHILD program is in full swing as we prepare for the holidays. But…there are still some tags available that need to be filled in order to provide for some of our local children. If you are able to help, please pick one (or more) up and shop. The gifts need to be returned by the 15th of December so that “Santa” can get his delivery bag ready and in his sleigh.
If you don’t find the tags posted at a local business, come by Nehalem Bay United Methodist Church and there should be a few hung in the window.
A big thank you for your support. It is great to live in a community filled with so many generous people. CHILD would not be possible without your support.

Lost walking/fighting stick on Ocean road Manzanita

Submitted By: ekerr1980@yahoo.com – Click to email about this post
Left my wooden walking stick (like a shorter fighting stick) on the north end of Ocean in Manzanita on Friday afternoon 12/1. On the ocean side of the road, laying on the ground where people park. Was a gift from a friend many years ago and is worn shiny in the middle from thousands of miles of walking.

Please email if you’ve found it and picked it up. Of if someone has stashed it somewhere to be held for its owner. It was gone by the next afternoon (Saturday 12/2). I can give identifying features from there if needed.

Has sentimental value and has been all over the country with us and I’m gutted I took off without it.

GENERAL INTEREST

GENERAL INTEREST

Interview with Pepe Escobar, ( not the drug lord):
For those of you who don’t know, Pepe has the respect of journalists and political analysts around the world for his depth knowledge and history regarding the grand chess board. Despite his accent, this wide angle discussion presents probably the clearest possible picture of where and why the players are doing what we see in real time and since events are moving at breakneck speed, someone like Pepe is worth listening to for an hour. And if one is not familiar with the various acronyms, like BRICS, BRI, ( the silk road), SHANGHAI CORP., IMEC, or the Ben Gurion Canal, etc, take some notes, because this is an honest, unfiltered view.
