Oh, my goodness, Friends Foundation can’t thank our community enough. With your help Friends Foundation sold nearly $6,000 of flower bouquets this summer. And, we had a generous donor give us $500 for our work! Money raised goes to provide Scholarships to people in our community. This is for the Children’s Programs, Swim Programs, and Fitness Program. This is an amazing amount of money to come from our community. None of this would be possible without Friends Foundation Volunteers, who grow, pick, and arrange beautiful flower bouquets. They showed up 6 days a week during the summer.
Friends Foundation is winding down flower sales this weekend. We will have flowers for sale on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Little Apple in Manzanita. There is a box there to put cash in, or you can use Venmo for your purchase. You might even want to help us get to the $7,000 mark by just making a donation. This can be done at our stand in Manzanita, or a donation can be made to Friends of NCRD Foundation, PO Box 511, Nehalem, Oregon, 97131. Be sure to make a note on your check it is for Scholarships.
