We just finished our very first month at Perch Makers Table and my heart is so full!
In four short weeks we hosted our first workshop (bracelet-making with the wonderful Lynn Kyriss of Swell Manzanita Jewelry!), kicked off two weekly community nights – Stitchin’ B! on Sundays and BYOP on Tuesdays – and got to give back over $7,000 to the local artists and makers selling in the shop. That number is everything to me, and it’s only month one.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this happen – the community who donated, artists who filled our shelves, Lynn for such a joyful first workshop, everyone who’s shown up to stitch with us, and all the friends and family cheering us on behind the scenes. Manzanita, you made this possible.
Come celebrate month two with us! Our first Saturday Night Workshop is Cowgirl Disco: A Dolly Parton Stitch Night, coming up 6-8pm. Stitch, sip, and sing along in honor of a woman who spent her life lifting others up.
