It’s the end of August and the days are getting shorter, but we’ve still got another month of markets to go! This year we will be going through the end of September, with the last market being September 25. This is the time of peak harvests, with summer produce still in full force and autumn crops beginning to roll in. I’m thinking potatoes, garlic, apples, and squash, along with all the delicious tomatoes and corn and peaches and more. Join us this Friday!
Music this week is by Rhythm Method, a percussion-heavy local favorite who always open with a song that I believe they wrote for the Manzanita Farmers Market! If not, it’s certainly become our theme song. Come dance away the last of the busy season and welcome in the coming fall!
