Celebrate the Fourth of July with a relaxed, hands‑on pottery‑painting experience at Blue Water Fine Art Gallery.

Each workshop includes two handmade pots created by resident ceramic artist Jennifer Bundy‑Cobb, who will guide you through glazing techniques in a warm, beginner‑friendly environment. No experience is needed.

WORKSHOP COST: $85 per person

Between Pups & Pyrotechnics: Paint a Pot at the Pacific
After cheering on the dachshunds at the annual Wiener Dog Races and before claiming your beach spot for fireworks, join us for a festive, creativity‑filled session. This workshop offers a perfect mid‑daybreak on Rockaway’s busiest day of the year.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

HOW THE WORKSHOP WORKS:
Pick two handmade pots from Jennifer’s bisque‑fired collection, ready for glazing.
CHOOSE FROM:
*Mugs
*Large tumbler (fits a straw)
*Miso bowl (take two and make a set)
*Dog bowl
*Learn glazing techniques using a wide palette of underglazes.
*Wear something comfortable — most glazes don’t stain, but creativity can get messy.
*Sketch or dive right in — scratch paper is available if you like to plan.
*Clear glaze + firing — Jennifer applies a clear glaze and fires your pieces to a glossy, food‑safe finish.

Pickup begins July 10 at the Gallery.
