The Cannon Beach Library’s 4th of July Book Sale is almost here and we need lots of volunteers to help run the sale. Most shifts are only 2 hours long. Returning and new helpers are both welcome. Volunteers also get to shop the sale without the crowds and get a free bag during our bag sale! How you can help:
June 30th – Beginning @ 10 am: Preparing the library
July 1st – Beginning @ 9:30 am: Putting out books
July 2nd, 3rd, 4th – Various 2-hour slots from 10 am to 4 pm: cashiers, baggers, stockers
July 5th – Beginning @ 3 pm: End of sale tear down – packing books, loading U-Haul, cleaning and rearranging library.
July 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th – 9-930 am and 4-430 pm:
Setting up and putting away the outdoor displays
The library opens for regular services Monday morning. Call 503-436-1391, email manager@cannonbeachlibrary.org, or stop into the library at 131 N Hemlock St in Cannon Beach to sign up.
